  1. He used Adobe Premier Pro and a GoPro3+. His buddy was hanging out the back window during much of the filming, and the back window in the A4 doesn't roll down all the way. Poor Paul about cracked his ribs. I was pretty impressed by what he came up with.
  2. Nick did an awesome job on this video. I think he takes after his mom. If you get a chance, pop over to youtube and give him a nice feedback if you like it.
  3. Probably the most influential clip and soundtrack in the history of filmography: or was it this one:
  4. Gotta throw in the TV theme song from Cheers. Always loved this opening...
  5. For those of us who remember technicolor, here are a couple of my fav's from the movie "South Pacific".
  6. I had a pair of LaScalas that hummed and I found out the answer was simple. They didn't know the words!
  7. Always did like Arthur's Theme.
  8. That's good to know. It would be pretty hard on a 4 ohm head head unit if you only had 1 ohm impedance. Here are a few other things to add. If the speakers are 1ohm rated, you need all new speakers if not using existing amp. Front pillar speakers are tweeters and front door speakers are woofers, so you need component speakers there. Back door speakers are woofers and rear pillar are ??? (they look like tiny midranges) Seems like the pillars are too far away from the rear door to use component speakers, but I don't know about such things. Tahoe has a factory amp. How do you wire into an existing amp and do you even want to? I would use new amps and wires! The Tahoe has a center dash speaker. Will that be used? Are there head units that use it? The Tahoe has a center console speaker. Also wonder if that will be used and if so, how? There is a head unit that is $2500 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500X009GM/Alpine-X009-GM-In-Dash-Restyle-System.html?tp=20212 made for that vehicle. Wow that's expensive! The JL Stealth subs do a great job and do not take up apase. The BFM Auto Tubas are great. I built one. They do take up space though.
  9. Just remember, the settings by the Auto that have little images and not letters are indeed auto as well. The camera is very user friendly in any of those. Next time you take pictures, try those different settings. It won't take you long to get the hang of it.
  10. I don't think the fed knows how to lower interest rates. Japan has negative interest rates. People are hoarding cash and I'm not sure the banking regulations their are as harsh as here in the US. In Europe, there is enough cash in circulation for every European to have 1,484.71 EU. Here are my calculations: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_-5nvuxy-j7NUIzZll6NmJPSFU/view?usp=sharing
  11. If I were in the market for a double DIN with navigation, I would read reviews on the navigation. I had one once that was dumb as a rock. This was a long time ago, but you should definitely check out what peeps are saying about the nav.
  12. If you move the switch to Sport etc, the auto function still works, it just makes the shutter faster. With Landscape everything is automatic also it just decreases the fstop (opens the aperture larger) which lets in more light. This will result in a faster shutter speed, but not as fast as Sport. Full AUTO should yield the slowest shutter speed, although Portrait may well yield a slower shutter speed Landscape should be the next fastest Sport should be the fastest unless you are in manual or Tv mode and set the shutter faster The minimum shutter speed without a tripod is 1/60th of a second. The only way to make this camera take slower than 60th pictures is in manual mode and I think Tv mode.
  13. Crutchfield.com is a good source for information about your vehicle. A double DIN head unit with navigation, a JL Stealth sub, some good component speakers with well placed tweeters and you are good to go. You have a budget?
  14. Yeah, you had something set wrong for sure. Don't think I am calling you names, but here is a nice little EOS XTi for dummies cheat sheet. Perhaps this will help with the learning curve. One tip. If you choose Sports while in very bright places, you force the shutter speed to be much faster. It also reduces blur caused by shaking hands. When I am outside, I use Sport a lot. If you want motion blur to show movement, Sport is not the right setting. Landscape is better because it has a higher depth of field, a slower shutter speed and those are important when you want to get a picture of something that isn't there yet like a bird or a race car.
  15. Another thing to do while you have your screwdriver in there is to loosen and re-tighten every screw terminal. They get oxidized, and this cracks back down to get a metal on metal continuity.
  16. Beach Buddies Man that was a long time ago!
  17. No self effacing allowed here. Compliments generously accepted even though not deserved. I am an utter amateur at this. What I know is because I have either learned it here or been inspired to go out and learn it from here. The true Sifu's are lurking and hopefully will be kind when they critique my response. First, your woofer is measuring 3.385Ω not 4.9. There will be little or no effect on the crossover as compared to the designated driver. Second, the woofer you have seems very comparable in a 2cuft enclosure. 1st graph: Although it is -2db from the round magnet K-33, it is still better than the square magnet version. 2nd graph: based on the resonance of the 2cuft enclosure, the woofer acts about the same as and the pro K-43 woofer. Still in the middle of all the compared woofers approved for the LaScala. I don't know what the actual internal volume of the Bell Klipsch is, but the La Scala is 2.04 cu ft. 3rd graph: tells me the driver is more LF capable that all but the square magnet K-33. It is still in the middle of the 4 drivers compared. 4th graph: The timing of the woofer will be as good as the other drivers. The delays are the same. In my opinion, that woofer would work very well in a La Scala. If the Belle Klipsch has an enclosure with the same volume, it should work in it just as well.
  18. Try saying Peanut Buster Parfait three times. My wife always kidded me about the fact that I get tongue twisted saying it once.
  19. traxic tactics tartics tractorics traxtric I give up!
  20. Make sure to give us pics muel. Love a good restoration project!
  21. Without an extension, it's hard to open a file. I figure the file is a woofer tester file. The top part has text, but doesn't match the specs in the photo you uploaded. Based on the picture, here is a comparison of your Eminence and the two different K-33's and K-43. Hope this helps!
  22. On my cell phone. Here are the t/s specs for the round magnet K-33. Perhaps you can compare these to your results. At first blush it looks like your driver would be OK. You need to consider how the crossover point will be influenced by the greater impedance. https://imgur.com/pOwb57S here are the K-33 square magnet specs https://imgur.com/jNN8AER hete are the K-43 specs (found in pro LS) https://imgur.com/ZE5vPuy
