  1. I waited a long time for a RSW15 to pop up on the used market before I ordered my Rythmik FV15HP. I would bet you could sell your your RSW15 for $850+ (I wold have paid that), that with the cost of the new sub, puts you in the $1,600+ range. No Klipsch sub can compete with the top model subs from the Internet direct companies like Rythmik and SVS.
  2. Top shelf Pioneer receivers are hard to beat. I have hooked up separate, high end amps and my SC-35 with I.C.E. amplifiers drives them just as good if not better than the separates. With the built in processors and tuning, they can't be beat IMO.
  3. I just check Craigslist in the morning, at lunch and at night. I have also been going to local pawn shop, today I found some RB-61's for $299 and they said they could sell them for $199. It's good to hear that I am not alone with my Kliosch Craigslist obsession. Haha
  4. If you want to get into touch with him, PM me your number and I will send it to him. He has answered every call I have ever placed. Trust me, he is a great guy to work with. Great looking system BTW!
  5. Two Rythmik F12 servo subs would look/sound great in that room. Brian at Rythmik has given me some of the best customer service I have ever experienced.
  6. Finally got it wrestled into position. This thing is a real beauty. Now I just need to start tweaking it. Definitely digs deeper than my old SVS.
  7. I really wanted a RSW-15 but my patience finally wore out. I have some time to mess with it today. I think the most embarrassing thing is that my "home theater" room is only 12x16 and it is also my living room. This thing is huge! For some reason this new sub has really got me to open the wallet this month. Ordered a Oppo BDP-103 and a Emotive XPA-3. Now I have been looking for RF-63's and RC-64. I really don't know why because ai LOVE my R-3 system. I will probably hold out for a good local deal if the ever pop up. Nobody I know understands my sickness..
  8. Thanks for the heads-up! Just ordered, what a great deal!. Back on track:
  9. If I can find a RC-7. Do you think I could mount it above my TV or is that too high?
  10. Thanks for the info! Looks like I will go pick them up and keep an eye out for a RC--7. Is the RC--7 taller than my RC-3? The RC-3 already just barely fits into my stand.. Edit: just looked it up. The RC-3 is 7.8" tall and the RC-7 is 9" tall. It won't fit
  11. Hello, I asked this in another thread but it never got answered. Would a pair of RS-7's match up with my RF-3's and RC-3. I would run my speaker calibration from my SC-35 but I have read that you should keep your speakers in the same series. I would run the RS-7's as my suround speakers and my RS-3's as my high front speakers. Thanks for the input in advance.
  12. I ran home after work with anticipation to find my new Oppo BDP-103 on the porch. No such luck:( congrats on the new machine!
  13. The Rythmik has landed. I have to run back to work but I figured I had some time to share some pictures before I leave. It is HUGE! This will be the longest 4hrs of work ever. I want to un-box it now!
  14. Ordered a BDP-103 last night. Can't wait to try it after reading so many positive reviews here and on AVS.
  15. I guy local to me is selling one for $650, looks like that's a pretty good price. Now I am over thinking it, like every other audio decision I have ever made. I can get a brand new BDP-103 for $499 on amazon, I like buyin new. Side question (didn't want to start a new thread for. Question that has probably been asked a few times): Would RS-7's blend with my RF-3 II RC-3 II fronts? Pioneer SC-35 is the receiver if it matters.
  16. Just ordered a 103 because of this thread. It will be Replacing a LG BDP670. Thanks allot.... Edit: A deal just popped up on a 95. Any advise to help me choose would be greatly appreciated.
  17. Yeah, a little rich for my blood also. Haha. I try to keep my receivers under $2k because I know I will get the itch in a few years anyway. My SC-35 is still keeping me happy and I only have $1k into that. Nice Denon A1UC, she's a beast!
  18. Just ordered the Rythmik FV15HP. The total was $1,675.. I would say $1k would be a fair offer. At that price you would be hard pressed to find a better deal for one of the (if not the) best subs on the market under $2,000.
  19. Congrats! That is a huge room. I can't wait to see some pictures.
  20. Ok, I know what you guys are thinking. No, it's not a RW-12 (still a great sub:). It's a Rythmik F15HP gloss black!! It is replacing a very stout SVS 25-31 PCI. Pictures and timeline to follow (sorry fellas, just excited).
  21. Looks killer Dave! I see a perfect spot for another SW-115...
  22. I am pretty terrible with technology so I just have it plugged into my AVR via HDMI and use a wireless mouse/keyboard. To tell you the truth, I usually just use the iPad on the couch and watch TV. I am sure I am missing allot of cool features.
  23. My IPad 2 hooked up to my SC-35 and displayed on my 82" Mitsubishi DLP (sorry for the terrible lighting).
  24. I am on my third Mitsubishi DLP, new 82" just got here last month. I don't see why there is so much hatred for these sets on the various forums. Mitsubishi's customer service is great and their TV's picture quality can't be beat in a dark room. And yes, I have owned three Plasmas and two LED sets, all leading models by leading manufactures. DLP is highly underrated and I am very sad to see them fade away. Does make me glad that I bought the 82" though:)
