My Anthem 510 with ARC room correction does a great job in 2 channel and HT. Easy to navigate and change the program profiles from ARC to switch from HT and 2Ch. Not a lot of bells and whistles that go unused, just good quality sound is their focus. Highly recommend! The ARC room correction software is the easiest to run and tweak I have used.

A properly performing Marantz 1060 is impressive with a very good phono section. The mid range adjustment is a great option with Klipsch RB series. I bought off a member here (Thanks again Jimjimbo!) and looks and sounds fantastic in bedroom connected to RB-81's

Take a look at some of the US cities with the strictest gun control laws. They have the highest occurance of gun related crimes. As Derrick (I believe) pointed out, it's a societal problem first and foremost. You have the break down of the family unit, glamorization of violence in video games and movies and instant gratification and notoriety on social media. There's a lot of contributors as to what's happening. Although I do agree with the mindset of family breakdown. That and the other issues you raised are also prevalent here in Canada without the degree of violent behavior. How is that explained away? I've tried, but always come back accessibility of weapons and violent mindset of the population in general is the core difference in our 2 societies. I live in a city of 5 million or so and don't feel that need of 'being on my guard' as when I visited big US cities.

I wouldn't be tempted to buy another Acurus if I did not like them. Seriously, I have been very pleased with every Acurus amp I have owned which is up to twelve I think. Actually the A200x3 is my favorite. Tons of punchy, tight and fast bass, great detail in the mids and highs. About as neutral an amp as I have ever heard. Cool running and quiet. Great dynamics. The A150 is what started my Acurus liking by the way it made a pair of Heresys and RB-5's thump to no end in the bass region. Bill Bill convinced me to P/U a Acurus A200five and boy am I ever grateful. His discription is bang on what I experience for both HT and 2 channel thru a Anthem mrx510. Very musical combo!

I agree completely. But it's also a false equivalency. I also would never imagine Carlin going against his well established principles and agree to do a daily reflection of the absurdity of current events. He was too much a perfectionist and wordsmith to pull that off nightly. That interview REaired Aug 9, 2015, your right I didn't see it re-aired Aug 9, 2015. I saw the full interview which aired Nov, 2014. 1. Rumsfeld put him in his place when face to face, and JS went submissive to the authority, That can not be denied. Just watch the original. He defers to all these authoritarian figures when face to face. Behind their backs he slings insults. There's no cherry picking. That's his persona for as long as he has been in public as an entertainer. In the old days, we referred to guys like that as "cheap shot artists." You call it 'submissive', a submissive interviewer would not later confess that he regrets not going further and attempt to get past the stone walling of a well guarded ex politician. The interview process is under time restraints (for corporate reasons ie advertising money) and he couldn't dig deeper for that reason. He looked resigned that Rumsfeld was going to deflect away from all direct questions. If he did it to "all these authoritarian figures when face to face" why does he admit to regretting it? It would have blended in to all other interviews, yet he didn't waver when recalling it instantly in the interview. How is Rumsfeld at the time of interview an authoritarian over Stewart by the way? He was a private citizen. I'll cherry pick his interview with active politician, Health and Human services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and the mockery he made of her attempt to defend Obamacare. How come he didn't capitulate to her? Only because she didn't have a book to shill and/or Viacomm insisted he attack her?
