So I did some more work on the grills. I added neo magnets, cut the wood so the fit is really close, also added some corner trim inside to keep everything as straight as possible.
These are my first grills I've made.
Lmao dude....
I bought some Infinity 3 way floor standing speakers (kappa something from the 90s). They did the same thing to my early 80s Sony ES amp. Every time I turned it up the amp would click off and the green light would blink red. That amp had been hooked up to many speakers never did that until them. And never after them.
I love this forum but.... its a bad place to be if your an audio/speaker nut and don't want to spend any money.
I don't know if this example will make sense.
If your riding a bike slow and fall it might hurt a little. But if your going 20mph...... A helmet probably wouldn't matter much in the former.
Not wearing a helmet is like leaving your room untreated (going 20mph on a bike and crashing).
This is almost certainly the issue.
Please post some pics of your room. Room is as important as your speakers. Take any speaker and put them in a different room and they will almost always sound a lot different. This isn't snake oil.... This is fact. We can help you much better if we can see a few pics of your room and set up.
People are prone to put things where they look the coolest. I totally get that. And room treatment panels can have issues with the wife/husband. But coolest looking almost never = best sounding.
The guy doesn't F around. He puts so much into everything he does. The word Epic doesn't do him justice. Its IMHO the biggest reason Pink Floyd is what they were.
Thats really makes threads like the Waters vs Gilmour such fun. The back and forth on the VS part is cool. But the real value for me is in the cool stuff to learn from other fans!
I'm a huge fan... but the Waters story is older than me (45).
