Thanks! I actually drew it out that way on paper last night. I'm going to send the sketch to her and ask if we have room for that set up. It would require removing the chair from the room all together, but I'd probably be ok with it. I attached a pic of my sketch, haha. I'm back in Houston now, so I can't do any shifting until I move there in March. By then she'll be used to however it is I'm sure. I'm not sure if this would be ok with one speaker near a corner and the other nowhere near a side wall. See attached. Is it possible to try this: Move the system to the wall on the right of it's position on the sketch so you can use the walls to set them equidistant from the center. Then turn the couches so they form a, "V" facing the tv, creating a triangular seating area. The couches can be moved apart from one another to crate an aisle between them for passage and a low coffee table can be set between them. Another fun idea would be to move the couches closer and build some kind of riser, putting one sofa behind the other and raised like stadium seating. until you try the different setups - and experiment different positions - you are not going to get it right - I fiddle for hours, but once I Get it right - I do stop - there is no other way - now if you had wall brackets to screw the speakers to - the imagery would be much more defined as you use the walls to align the sound - that is the pro way - bracket - screws - angle positioning -

Michael, I fit two LS in the back of my Subaru Forester... Worked out great. Listen to them at low levels, listen at a comfortable level, get an idea about the detail in the music. Bruce lile Bruce said - You gotta listen to these speakers to see if they sound right for you first of all - and to check whether they have issues or are in good condition -as the seller may or may not know all there is about these - - each speaker has a 15 " woofer K33E - 4 ohms/ a midrange drver k55M -16 ohms / and a tweeter K77M 8ohms - both these diaphragms must sound right as they are expensive to repair - about 80$ per midrange and 20$ per tweeter for parts if you are handy at soldering - the crossover is the AL version , about 100$ to rebuild each - -an ohmmeter should help to test the 4 components in a matter of seconds -on the ohms setting - just put the postive and negative prongs and check - -the tendancy on a lot of scalas is for people to overdrive the speakers blowing the mids and highs - I bought a pair that had both of these blown - This scala speaker is not your big boom box as the woofer is in a folded horn towards the rear - -take some time to listen to these with your music - and if the seller doesnt have any , bring an amp and a CD player or whatever you need for you to sample before you jump up and down - we all hope you did fall on the right speakers for you - but your ear will be your best judge -take care -

no it was not a 426 ,, as these were built in the late sixties only - these sirens wer built during the World War II and Cold War era from 1952 to 1957 (second generation) by Chrysler, its power plant contained a newly designed FirePower Hemi V8 engine with a displacement of 331 cubic inches (5.42 l) and producing 180 horsepower (130 kW).[1] Well EXCUSE me for relating what i was told as a 10 year old kid. It's a Himi, big fkn deal! no offense intended - a 426 hemi was like 3-400 Horsepower - you hook it to this rig designed for half the power and it would not hold up - bolts would come loose - frames would bend - I remember guys who would put a 426 hemi in a car not designed for the motor and the frames would bend scrapping the car 's unibody - hemi 426 engines needed beefier frames with thicker plates - what an engine - the stock blocks in drag racing were good for 1000hp -

This is just plain wreckless. We see this in nature all of the time. A species has abundant food, overpopulates and destroys its habitat and dies off. We are no different except that we are smart and should have the ability to avoid this. Should have? Let me stop laughing, first. Go ahead, spell out the rules. Who gets what kind of car? How much gas are they allowed? Who gets to fly? Who gets to keep their home at 72F year round? How big should our house be? How often can we get a new car? A new suit? Unless you can cite the specifics, there are none. And if they're are no specifics, there is no way to avoid limits on anything. It might sound good, it might feel good, but it's pointless preaching. Consumption is mechanistic. If you can't describe the machine, you can't control the consumption. the analogy is very real when you consider a country like Venezuela - that sells their fuel to the people for 18 cents a gallon -and nonetheless - they cant buy anything else -

Iunderground mines use scrubbers on their combustion engines - and it works - they will come soon or later to all gas engines to reduce pollution -it is just a question of time - I work for a Class 8 truck manufacturer - the big rigs on the road. The federal regulations regarding the exhaust coming out of those trucks makes the it cleaner than most automobiles. We are already there. they use the urea liquid solutions from Germany -through the cat -

-
the k 402 you sampled was coupled to which driver
-
how much do these go for - are these titanium diaphragms made by klipsch or by another maker -
-
that is what we call - good neighbors
-
you are comparing a 150$ horn with driver used to an 900$ horn used , I would be congested as well in that I would need 1800$ to feel the difference - but I agree totaly - after all it is used in the jubilee and the cinema series -
