Good to still see some familiar “faces”! It has been suggested at my current job that I launch a forum, and I started having cold sweats and nightmares. Thought I’d face my demons and stop by. 😉
Hope all is well with my old friends!
Hi Amy,
Great to see you, I hope you're doing well.

Nice speakers, they need some work, 3k?
I've had 3 pair now or I would buy them. I finally figured out I don't have the room.

Those look great for $625

I've used UShip in the past and they were outstanding. It's been a couple years but a pair of KP-362s from Ocala to Chicago was around $200 IIRC

Billy,
I'm not much on hanging around a place where my comments have to be approved before they can post. It's not very welcoming, I'm sure potential new members appreciate the censorship as much as the current members. And there are plenty of causes I can donate money to, I direct mine to a select few.

I haven't looked at prices forever, have they gone up that much? $1k for Heresy?

I guess you can think when you want to. That's a good thing.
I guess you can say whatever you want when you're a mod, that's not necessarily a good thing

Looking at the other ads on that site, it appears that saving the box and packing material your component came in pays off. I was surprised to see a 1970s receiver described as “Open Box”. Some of the old units were even claimed to be “New in Box!”.
Maybe I’m wrong, but it’s hard for me to believe that some of these old units have been sitting unnoticed or forgotten in a warehouse or closet for all these many years.
BTW, is $80 for a Klipsch Heritage Groove or $155 for a Klipsch The One II considered to be a good deal? I have no idea.
$80 for a Groove is too high, $155 for The One II is a good deal. Where did you see the One for that price? I've been looking for one

I need some help getting four bottles of rum picked up at Total Beverage in Thornton and the Westminster locations and then shipped to me in Chicago. They are already paid for. I'd be happy to throw some cash your way to cover costs and your time. If you can help please shoot me a PM.
Thank you,
Mark

@jimjimboset me up with a pair of crossovers, I started out with just the cabinets and bought the parts. He and a few other people here would be able to tell you how they modified the crossover.
