  1. Yes. I am using Chrome. That must be the culprit.
  2. Hi All, I have moved to a much smaller living space and my beloved reference series is just too much speaker for the living space I am in now. I am afraid I must part ways with my setup and downsize! Can anyone tell me what they think is a fair price for these speakers, which are in pristine condition? (except for one of the RS-10's which has a loose grill) I live in Central Florida. -Klipsch Reference RF-25 Floorstanding Speakers (2) - Black - Mint Condition -Klipsch Reference RS-10 Rear Surround Speakers (2) - Black - Good Condition (Only problem is loose grill, but audio is unaffected by this) -Klipsch Reference RC-52 Center Speaker - Black - Mint Condition Thanks! PS, Anyone know how I can post with paragraph breaks? For some reason, everything is being lumped into one paragraph!
  3. Wow, thanks for all of your responses! Just to elaborate, the pain is very slight and it was right after listening to about 20 minutes of the dark knight cranked up to what I thought was a reasonable level. The discomfort lasted for a few hours and then was gone. I will probably go to an ENT as many of you have suggested and will DEFINITELY be more careful in the future. Next purchase: SPL meter!
  4. Do you recommend any specific model?
  5. Thanks for the advice, and I definitely appreciate the concern. I will take your's and CECAA850's advice and measure just how loud I am listening. My instinct is that it is not dangerous levels, but I could be wrong. I usually turn the volume up just enough to where I can start to really feel the bass. What is the point of having a nice sound system if you cannot feel the power?
  6. I have been experiencing some ear pain lately after just a few minutes of listening to my setup at high volumes. I am not sure if this is due to my speakers, receiver, room setup, or something else. The speakers are low end reference series - do I need to go higher end? The room is about 12 by 15, and it opens up to the kitchen area. The floor is terracotta tile. Any ideas on what might be causing this and how it can be alleviated? I know some people will say to toss my onkyo out the door, but I am hoping to avoid this if possible
  7. I am rethinking my order. I can get a Bic America F12 for a bit less than the Klipsch. Which one would you guys recommend?
  8. I think their is a pretty good deal on this sub right now at vann's. I have been waiting for it to go on sale, and I just snagged one http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/features/549499727/klipsch-rw-10d?s_c=site_search&SSAID=101512
  9. Unfortunately, the RS-42's and above are a bit out of my price range right now - I should have mentioned that. However, I really want to stick with Klipsch for the rears. Someone is selling a pair of Synergy S-1's for $100. I know these are no match for the RS series, but will they still sound decent?
  10. Hi all, this is my first post, so be gentle! I have RF-25s for the front (biwired), and an RC-52 as the center. I am looking to get a 5.1 setup, so what advice would you give for surrounds and subwoofer? Receiver is an Onkyo HT-R667. Any help is greatly appreciated!
