  1. Hi, another question from my side to other owners of the Sub. Maybe someone is willing to check a diode on the circuit for me? The diode D8 on the Switching Power Supply PCB is dead (open circuit). It would be nice to get any information about this diode. The following picture shows D8 (the part in TO220 package near D8 is D16), but I'm not sure if it's still the original part since one of the soldering points doesn't look like an original soldering point: THANX in advance!
  2. I'm using my setup in my HT - so there is no TV, i use a DLP pro with a 110" screen. The Center is a high as possible under the screen and the angle is adjusted to point direct at ear level of the sweet spot. I also played a lot with my Marantz amp (Audyssey on / off, etc.) but i'm still not happy with some sound situations where voice is not loud and strong enough. Maybe i will wait for a good RC64II second hand deal... Thanx to all!
  3. sorry, the sub wasn't listed in my config - now it's added... so 2 pro's for RC 64 II till now: is the RC 64 II noticeable better than the RC 62II (in terms of better voice and more "power")? Thanx
  4. Hi, currently i'm using a RC 62 II in my setup (2 x RF 82 II, 2 x RS 52 II for Surround, 2 x RS 42 II for Surround Back, RT-10d) In my opinion the center sounds a little bit to thin and i like to upgrade to have more "power" for the center. My question is, if a RC 64 II (from the matching productline) will be the first choice or the "old" RC 7 (which i can have second hand for a good price) will be the better choice. Will the RC 7 fit to the new "setup" of the MK II series? Again: My goal is to have rich, deep and powerfull center and the RC 7 do have bigger low frequency drives (8" vs. 6,5") than the RC 64 II THANX in advance ! Juergen
  5. After a long time searching, i found a good second hand RT-10D here in good old europe. As a proud owner of this amazing sub, i just want to be sure to have the latest Firmware (for adaptive room correction). My sub shows V.1.10 on display - is this the latest one? Subwoofer-Commander software offers an option "Firmwareupgrade", but i can't find any files in the web.... Big THANX in advance!
  6. aha - so i found a "wrong" review of Mark II and not the old one on the net... THANX!
  7. I'm overwhelmed about the amount of answers - great forum! Sorry for the late answer, but we have some time difference here in Austria ;-) Maybe i have to add some info about the room: My cinema is quite small 5,5m l x 4,2m w x 2,4m h (55 m³) I think for US this about 18 feet l x 14 w x 7 h (2000 cubic feet) One additinal question: Are there different models from RF 7 out there, because in a picture i found in a review the Bi-wiring terminal on the back was in 2 rows(2 up, 2 below). The 2 used RF 7 I found on market has all 4 connectors in one row - so maybe this an older edition?
  8. Hi, any opinions to this question? I can get "old" used RF 7 for a good price - near the price for the new RF 82 II. What will be the better choice for a home cinema setup. Currently I'm replacing my old setup (Teufel) with Klipsch and i started with the center RC 62 II -> I'm absolutely happy with this center ;-) Now I have to find the best matching front box (and will continue with the rest afterwards - step by step) THANX!
