My Hammond I refurbished

A little paint and some black walnut and I think it turned out pretty good. A good friend of mine went thru it and fixed all the issues, mainly just replaced some bad caps. Loving the sound so far.

Got this for 100.00 and it needed a little work, was looking for a way into tube amps and figured I would give it a try.

Lost another great one RIP

Picked this up for 100.00 and it works as best I can tell. Plays good except one channel seems weak compared to the other. Plays at a much lower volume on channel B vs A. Going to jump in head first as this is my first tube amp. Any advice what to check or info would be greatly appreciated.

Probably get flamed, but that’s ok.

Raced for several years, best combo I ever used was 350 with stroker kit. 383 was a beast that would sing like a 327 but had the low end of a stout big block. Won a bunch of money with that combo street racing.

Nice rack, only seen a few better and they were 2 legged.

Ecm motors suck, more junk to go wrong. By a standard 1/3 hp 825rpm motor. Little change in wiring but nothing hard. I never replace them with ecm motors unless it is warranty. If you get the motor pm me will send u a wiring diagram.

Not what you want to hear, but the main reason they don’t sell to just anyone is that people that don’t know what their doing wire stuff wrong. Then they bring it back and want a replacement. I own a HVAC company and see this all the time, customer does more damage trying to fix it than what the repair would have cost from a contractor. Not saying you don’t know how to do the job but help you understand their point of view. Good luck there are companies that will sell to you online, will just need the correct info.

Always lightly grind then sand any new cast iron I get, then polish the crap out of it until slick. Use grapeseed oil to season with, takes a little longer to get it seasoned good, but is nonstick when your done and it stays seasoned!!

That rubber shelf liner stuff works great and is cheap.
