I use emotive amps on mine if your thinking SS. Very clean sound and only get the smaller ( mine is the upa500) ones it is all you will ever need. A little power goes a long way
300.00 to 350.00 seems like a good figure. If you got one of the first ones, make sure you have
the latest firmware update. They fixed a lot of bugs in the later upgrades.
I just happened to check out Dallas and Houston area during my Scala hunt, you have a boat load of klipsch going on there.

Been working on getting my best songs on my RTR today. For the 15th time LOL

Yes on the clear coat.Found that copper can be a pita to keep looking good.I buffed the tubes out then put a light coat of clear on them.Took a few tries to get it right, but overall liked the way it came out.
Yes the bass bin is the correct volume. I just increased the width and depth to make it a little shorter so I could use the stands. The woofer grill is a wood ring with some Parts Express grill cloth stapled to the back.
The uprights are copper tubing covering the all thread that is holding them together.Used some good copper cleaner on them and they have a nice shine to them.
Thank you Paul
