  1. Yeah my power supply board is pretty much busted. Headphones still work but the volume is messed up and sound doesn't come out of the speaker now. I'll need to buy a new power supply board(which I can't find anywhere) or just find a used sub/amp. Talking to a Klipsch guy but they take forever to respond.
  2. I don't know much about electronics but from reading the schematic the resistor next to it is 82-1/4w which looks a little burnt, might need replacing as well. I'm not sure about the transistor though. It says Q106 is 2sc 1815 and I have no idea what would be an equivalent to that. EDIT: So the resistor is easy to find online but I can't find the transistor for the life of me.
  3. Okay so I'm not finding anything that's burnt. I did however check out to see if the headphones are working and they are on both channels. I'm assuming headphones go through the same channels as the speakers, so that would most likely mean there's a problem between the connection of the sub and the speaker wire right? Found something that might be the problem, uploading pic. I haven't taken the board apart and am just looking around. Noticed this had a wire stickign out and looked a little brown. http://i.minus.com/ijtjOI.JPG
  4. Checked the DIN plug and wiggled it with the system on but nothing. On first glance I'm not seeing anything toasted but I'm about to take the plate off. Since this is the left channel is there anywhere in particular I should be look at? I noticed two boards that look the same and figure one is for each channel? Also, do the 2 3 wired cords each go to one channel?
  5. So today my ProMedia 2.1 started acting up. The left channel doesn't work at all. I've tested both satellites in each channel and both work in the right but not in the left. I've tried it on both my computer and an Ipod to check if it was a Windows setting but nothing works in the left channel. I am getting static out of the speaker when I'm plugging it in, but no source sound. Is there anything I can check in it that breaks easily? I looked at the fuses and they look fine. Not sure what to do other than go to a repair shop.
