These are great amps! I’ve got 3 of the older version because I liked them so much. I preferred them over much more expensive separates. Whoever gets this will be happy.

Man I watched about the first 15 minutes and he didn’t even get to the fortes yet and I lost interest lol. I think he’d sell more kits designing for the Forte 1&2. I’ve got those and wouldn’t mind tinkering with. If I just dropped 4K on a set of new Forte 3’s I wouldn’t be modding them any time soon. That’s just me though.

Most underrated comment there. I can deal with a little dirt for a deal. That looks like a pack of cigarettes and ashes. I bought an amp like that from a guy that smoked heavily inside the house. (Didn’t know when I bought it). Opened it up, cleaned it all up, nothing helped. For weeks my whole place wreaked like old cigarettes. I left it in the laundry room until I found a buyer.

I hope you’re feeling better. They look nice. I think you should post a question in the technical/modification section. The RF7-III’s that those drivers are designed to work in, are a larger cabinet. The sensitivity is different, and the crossover points are significantly different. You may be missing something. There’s guys there with a lot more experience than I with this kind of stuff. Maybe there’s some minor crossover tweaks you could do to get them dialed in better. Looking at the specs you may had a 2db difference between the horn and drivers. Also looks like a gap in crossover points that you’re missing some frequencies.
