I would go with the KLF 20's. The appearance difference was enough for me. I looked at the RF-3 and thought good for a college student, not someone that wants to build their long range system. I was able to demo both of them in the same store and was really impressed with the 20's. They were even set up in a home theater system. I used the "Matrix" for the demo. The guy smiled at me and said how loud do you like it? I said crank it up, so he closed the doors and proceeded to make my freaking ears bleed!!!! You will love the 20's or you can send them to me and I will keep them for you. LOL!!!!!!!

I used a song by Holly Cole titled "Bright sun shinny day" or something like that. I can't remember the exact title. I think it is a great jazz song with good vocals and bass. It is really a great song for a Klipsch demo.

You just gotta love these ubid scams. Check out the klipsch listing for Quintet 200 watt speakers. They have 296 available with a starting bid of $9.00. The price is currently 119.00 because Ubid says someone wants 296 of them at $109.00. Thats $32,264 plus shipping!! Too bad I'm not a lawyer so I could stop these stupid scams!!!!!!!!!!! Even if someone wanted all of them they would never start with an opening bid of $109.00! C'mon Ubid Klipsch owners are smarter than that!

I have my C-7 wired with straight banana plugs and it works just fine. You don't need angled plugs, straight ones will work.

I am with you guys on the Tweeter bashing! I dread going into their store because they descend on you like a pack of blood thirsty animals. I recently went in to acquire about the new surround speakers and got the typical crap. They are not available yet, but you could buy the rs3 and trade them in later when the rs7 become available. It's like they don't listen to a word that I am saying! They also give out some major bad advice on hooking things up. They are always trying to sell extra cables that are not needed for your system. I miss the small local stores. p.s. THEY CAN SHOVE THAT RETAIL PRICE UP THEIR A$$!!!

I was wondering if UBID ever had a clearance auction on the KLF 20's. I have seen just about every Klipsch speaker on there except for the 10, 20, and 30's Thanks!
