  2. /me is exagerting duuuuuuude exagerating jeez man if the room was that big i'd have some kick *** speakers, not dinky little promedias
  3. dude the omniplex theater system (a version of imax) has a 36.8 speaker system totaling at 13000 watts rms. why don't ya just get one of those, its only a couple hundred grand
  4. when playing dvds and games, a 4.1 system is ususally great. but a problem is that the speakers in the rear don't have the aid of a subwoofer, meaning any explosions, or other low end frequencies are lost in the rear, thus a helicopter fly-around is much less impresive. with a 4.2 system and the additional subwoofer placed in the back remedies the situation. also in games with the bass pumped up, you can feel people walk up behind you! if you got the cash go with 4.2

  7. yeah man try to put some plexi glass or tile below the sub woofer, carpet rugs and wood kill bass.
  8. i figured i could use y splitters and set up four spekares in the front, and 4 spakers in the back, with a sub in the back and front so i get full bass all around. would this work?
  9. is there a power advantage to either? frequency response? mabey sound quality? i'd liek to know thanks
