  1. I needed some replacement fuse holder caps for my KP 250's. I called Klipsch and they sent me the wrong ones. I found this just by chance on the internet: http://www.iboats.com/Blue-Sea-Systems-Fuse-Holder/dm/cart_id.493865532--session_id.043720232--view_id.729796 All I needed were the caps and the were a perfect fit. The whole fuse holder is the same as was used in my 250's. First Item on the page. Hope this helps. Bill
  2. Yeah I am a Bill Too. What you are doing should work. The other Bill []
  3. I use a Pioneer VSX 1121K as my HT receiver. It has preamp outs for all channels in addition to about 100 WPC on all channels built in. I send the two front left and right preamp outs to a Carver C-1 preamp on "Aux 2" and send that to a Carver M 1.0t amp and send the amp to the two fronts, which are Chorus II. If I want to listen to stereo, I send my CD player preamp out to the "Aux 1 in" on the C-1. Rotate knob to Aux 1 and listen to CD. I use the volume knob on the C-1 to control volume. When I watch movies, I rotate the C-1 to "Aux 2" and put volume at 12:00 on the Carver C-1. I let the Pioneer MCAAC do all the adjustments. Just have to remember to set the volume to 12:00 on the Carver C-1. I also have a Samsung Blueray player with a HDMI connected to the Pioneer. I can play a cd in there and the power comes from the Carver M1.0t. When I do this I have to change the speaker selection on the Pioneer to stereo I think. I forget what I do unless I am standing right there. I use the built in FM tuner on the Pioneer at night for music. I just hit the tuner button on the remote. I can also use a cable and hook up an Ipod or Iphone or an MP3 player to listen to stereo, using a front port on the Pioneer. Power comes from the Carver M 1.0t. There is a way to also have my Lab 12 tapped horn sub play at the same time when I listen to music. The Carver never gets turned off, It is on 24/7. Unless I am at work, the Pioneer is always on too. I hope this isn't too confusing. Bill
  4. I called Klipsch and got this dude on the phone that was very knowlegeable about tthe Pro speakers. Third time is the charm. Sorry, I did not get his name. Slaps forehead. Anyway, He gave me their source for the factory approved phenolic replacement for the tweeters. Simply speakers Part #127103. I am going to get a pair of these. Thanks for all of the assistance, Bill
  5. I took these part. That's the first time for me. Are there any tricks of the trade? Gonna call Klipsch today.
  6. I am looking for a good new/used pair of these diaphragms: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=290-449 . If you have a pair laying around gathering dust, just shoot me a PM. Thanks, Bill I also need two round screw on horn gaskets for these mids.
  7. I want to buy some stock phenolic tweeter diaphragms. These should fit the K-76, K-63, K-74, K-75, K-76, K-79, K-83, K-84, K-85, K-88, K-90, K63, K74, K75, K76, K83, K84, K85, K88, K90. Same fitment as the titanium ones sold by Bob Crites. If you have a GOOD pair to sell, after you upgraded to titanium, just shoot me a PM. Thanks, Bill
  8. I didn't even hook them up. All four diaphragms are either burned or missing. Both woofers have 5.3 ohms so I am assuming they are good. Are you saying that I want phenolic instead of titanium? Where can these be sourced? Bill
  9. That was a lot of pics. Someone needs to fix it so a man can attatch more than one at a time. What you think Michael. Bill
