  1. Where are you located? I have a pair of CF-3 series 1 in Black. I may sell them. I am in Hammond, La.
  2. My bad. 7.1 Still beg to answer the questions. Is it worth the trouble.
  3. I have a pioneer VSX-1121-K and I am running 5.1 with a pair of Chorus II for the fronts, an Academy for the center, a Lab 12 Tapped horn for the sub and a pair of Forte II for the rear surrounds. I want to change it to a 9.1 system. I have a pair of original Forte, and two pair of KG4. I want something smaller than the KG4. 1 What other KG models should I be looking for? 2 Or what else should I be looking for? 3 Is the timber match as important with the extra surround? 4 Would it be a waste of time? 5 Is there much to be gained going from 5.1 to 9.1? Bill
  4. Worked like a champ. I knew there was something I missed. Thanks guys. Bill
  5. I have a Pioneer VSX 1121-K playing through a Carver C-1 preamp and a Carver M 1.0t amp for the front channels in my 5.1 home theater setup. The front speakers are Chorus II. They also do double duty as my two channel setup using a cd player or an I pod through my Pioneer 1121 and the Carver stuff. I have tried all possible combinations that I can find with the Pioneer, but for the life of me I can't seem to make the subwoofer work on two channel. The sub is a LAB 12 tapped horn. Now I know that the Chorus II can go very low, but I would like to integrate the sub if at all possible for two channel. Is there a way to make the Pioneer play two channel with a sub?
  6. Anyone have any experience with this bass bin? Hartke 215xl. I have a chance to pick one up really cheap. I am probably going to get it any way. I can flip it and make money if it doesn't work out. Would this work as a sub for music or HT? I was considering a Bash 500 plate amp to run with it.
  7. I just built it on the fly. Open at top and bottom and covered with grill cloth on the inside. There is some heat even when it is not in use, so I said what the heck, can't hurt it to breathe.
  8. Thanks for all the kind words. This thing really kicks azz. You can feel it in the couch 12 feet away. I think I want a second one.
  9. This thing really kicks butt. I need to know if the Pioneer VSX 1121 receiver can do all the crosssover requirements or do I need anything else?
  10. Well it is finished and installed. The Bash bamp is not dialed in yet. I am working on it.
  11. Removable access panel is held in place with pocket screws. I will paint The Lab tomorrow.
  12. Removable access panel is ready for install. Not necessary, but I thought I would add one.
  13. Ran a tap through all eight t-nuts. This is very important. Lab 12 fits like a glove.
  14. One more. The Lab 12 will be finished with this also.
