  1. To the Naysayers, I have been watching posts for Forte ll here on the Forum, Ebay, and CL for quite some time berfore listing my speakers on here. I have yet to see any comparable. Sure, I have seen some oak cabinets, with scratches and cracks, and I have seen some walnut Forte ll's for $600 with torn speakers and blown tweeters, so $800 for a pair with the boxes, paper work, and no scratches, scars defects of any kind, seems to be in fact, rare. Yes, I could lower my price so you could get a bargain. Certainly, if you think the price is too high, just say so in your mind and move on. Why be dorks and comment on my post? If you think my price of $800 is too high, that is your opinion and I suggest you invest in black generic Forte ll's that have defects, or oak, or walnut cabinets with scratches and cracked bases or torn components. It's your money, go ahead and get a deal for less than $800 and have to put money into speakers that you have no idea who has owned or how hard the speakers have been used. Average price for Forte ll speakers is around $600 and not in good condition, these are in excellent condition. I stand corrected on the cabinets, they are laminate with a walnut overlay. I will be happy to provide any pics.
  2. I bought a pair of Klipsch Speakers from Riley Electronics in Evansville, IN back in 1988. These are sequentially numbered speakers, no scratches, no dings, no dents, mint condition. I still have the paper work and original boxes, however, I would not want to ship the speakers in the boxes alone as time has taken its toll on the cardboard. I will ship the speakers, at your cost, in the original boxes, but packed in a larger box so as to not rely on the original boxes for protection. The speakers are in a solid Walnut cabinet that has been very well taken care of. The speakers were powered with a Yamaha Natural Sound true 500 Watt per channel RX930 with a Yamaha Eq. The speakers sound perfect. Volume was turned up a few times, of course, they are Klipsch, but not run at high volume much. These speakers are not rare, BUT perfect speakers with original paper work and original boxes in mint condition ARE. I am not sure of the true value, I have been watching these speakers sell here in the Forum and on Ebay for anywhere between $500 and $1,000, but none that I have seen, are as perfect as these speakers. So here is your chance to own classic speakers. Make an offer, but please, do not offend me with an offer less than $800, I won't even respond. I will ship via PayPal or you can arrange a pick up in Birmingham. I work with many banks so there is a way to complete the transaction, if PayPal is not your bag. I can send you pics from every angle or any specific photos.
