Hi I want to use the Heresy Pro for a 2-Way stage monitor.....is the Driver adequate on that Horn? or does it need to be replaced to handle the upper frequencies? naturally a 2-Way network/crossover will be swapped and the Pro Woofer (42) used.....just wondering if the horn might want a different driver? Opinions? Thanks again!

Hi , last night the post about trouble-shooting the 3002's crossover network got me inspired to look at mine.....and I realized, soon after hitting that same area with solder, that problem resolved, the hi-end still was a bit under-par in one speaker (the one with replaced crossover) ....so....I did some looking into it, to realize that they might have replaced the crossover when actually the diaphragm was simply all that was needed..... .....PLUS there was an accompanying diaphragm with the sale of the pair of 3002s = so looked online and there was a nice Youtube post of a gent doing a diaphragm replacement = I followed suit and it works just brilliantly = nice crisp highs again....however, the other side is now appearing a bit lack-luster in comparison.....perhaps replacing these in pairs is best? would anyone care to comment on that.....I remember when NS10 tweeters or woofers were being replaced, that a complete pair swap seemed to be the way to go.....also...anyone have an extra diaphragm for a 3002 ? thanks again for the inpiring posts here guys! hope you are enjoying 2012 so far!

Hey Bobby.... ....I bought a pair of these great 3002s recently and a crossover had been replaced = I have a feeling it needs the same fix.....would you or Steve-Oh detail the fix if you would be so kind....its amazing all three pairs could quite conceivably have the same issue, yes? thanks again, Will

Hi, I bought a nice pair of KP 3002 (evidently the Pro version of the Chorus speakers....? ) and I love them, they are just wonderful sounding.....though a crossover had been swapped out of one channel (it came in a box with the Pair).....so I want to test the crossover and if it needs repair, fix it.....any recommendations of who can look at this crossover and see what (if anything) needs to be repaired .....I'm in the Bay area and travel down to LA and for certain am willing to send it by mail.....thanks in advance and thanks to all the great contributors here who are so concerned about the new-to-forum guys! take care, Will

Amazing that the other Heresy's I've been enjoying are from just one year earlier.....and they sound , well, you know....magical! You really can hear the nuances of performances so well on these speakers.....I've been enjoying them = its like listening with new ears for some reason! ....and thanks for the nod towards Andy = I will have to send him some photos....think I'll give these a nice re-vamping.....any suggestions?

Hi, ...I bought a pair of Heresy Boxes recently and would love to ID them = there is no indent for grille cover = does that mean they were originally architectural? ....there is a serial number and USA woodburn, face photos, glide feet photo, etc to help ---- if I can figure out how to post them..... I am about to begin the restoration process (they seem to have been unloved and were a rescue from a rural area, so they are a bit wild and untamed = no labels, hardly much at all on them, save the floor glides/feet.....) ....so I am giving them the Love they need and would be open to any and all info to help in their full recovery and adaptation to their new life in my home.... By the way, I have found some wonderful beings on this forum and had a long conversation with our Biggest Pro Audio Klipsch Expert = wow....! so energetic and motivating and filled with the excitement = no wonder Klipsch is special = so MANY special people are attracted to them! ....I know this is really like going to the Ballpark and being invited directly into the Clubhouse, so I wanted you all to know, that with just a few weeks exposure into the Klipsch Sound, I now own (or do they own me?) 4 pairs of Klipsch speakers = Vintage Heresy's were the first find in SF's Ocean disctict (Wow = I'm listening to Sunday morning music on them now !), then a pair of nicely kept 301-lla's,,,,,wow....to hear your singing voice through stellar beauty for the first time- then a pair of 302's and finally these restoration Heresy's (don't know the model/year yet) .......thanks for the good vibes, here, people! Hi,,,, ....has anyone had any good results using Heresy speakers for stage monitoring ...and if so,,,,,would you kindly detail the amp/setup, etc..... was wondering if a second pair I just got to restore could do this nicely = was wondering if the tweeter might want to be dealt with in any particular way....does it want to be pulled and just used 2Way?......and if so, what crossover would be best...... thanks again! Hi, I've got a pair of Klipsch 3 way PA speakers I recently bought and they will be used ocsaisionally by inexperienced mixers = how can I best fuse them to protect them? they will be powered by a Crown Amp of a nicely matched power rating! thanks again, I've seen so much good info here!
