I just picked up Eric Clapton one more car one more rider dvd. In setup menu it asks stereo, dolby digital, or DTS.I tried DTS and the dolby digital light comes on no DTS. Am I doing somthing wrong. I Have a Sunfire Theater Grand 3 Preamp. Any info will be helpful. Thanks Joe

Hello everyone Well after alot of research I finally did it. I just finished hooking up my SUNFIRE GRAND THEATER III and PARASOUND HCA-2205AT 5 channel amp and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! They make my KLIPSCH REF7's and SVS sub very happy. I can not get over how the 2 channel with the halo option sound. I found myself checking the center channel to make sure it was not on because all of the vocals are right in the center of the room. Everyone that said PARASOUND & KLIPSCH = HEAVEN are correct. Very warm sound. For the pre amp I was going to buy the ANTHEM but my dealer talked me into the SUNFIRE. I'm glad he did very nice, easy to setup and great sound stage. Thanks to everyone here on this site which helped me make the right choice in going to separates. If others are up in the air about separates or receivers go separates and you will never good back Joe

Hi Kain64 I have a Sunfire theater grand 3 and a Parasound HCA-2205AT amp coming. My speaker setup is the same as yours. So you think I'm going to be happy with this set up for my klipsch?? Right now I'm using a low end sony receiver. Hopefully this will make a huge difference. Does the parasound sound good in 2 channel for music?? Thanks Joe

Hello I was doing some research on seperates and came across parasound new line Halo. Just wondering what everyone thinks of this company. I was going to upgrade my system with a HT receiver(denon 3802) and have been giving it some thought that maybe I should go with seperates because I don't want to be upgrading every couple of years.The only thing is I'm going to need some help on seperates. Don't know to much about them. Do I need a preamp and an amp, also would I use my receiver for the home theater and tuner and the seperates for music???? Hello Are the sony ES receivers alot better than the sony DE series receivers. I have all sony. I'm looking to upgrade my STR-DE925. I've read alot of good things about the Denon 3802. How do you think the SONY STR-DA5ES compares to the DENON 3802. I have RF7's RC7 RS7's and a SVS CS-ULTRA, 1000 WATT SAMPSON AMP. Thanks Joe

Hello, I'm looking to spend about 700.00. What receiver will compliment my RF7's,RC-7,RS-7's and SVS CS-ULTRA with sampson amp. My movie to music ratio is about 70% to 30%. I have been reading alot about the Denon 3802 going well with this setup. I have a Sony STR-DE925 at this time. I think with a new receiver this setup would sound so much better. Also if I was to spend 1000.00 is their a receiver that is much better for this setup than 700.00 for a Denon 3802??? Thanks to all Joe

Hello I just hooked up all my speakers and I'm trying to set the levels with a sound meter and a setup video from Video Essentials. My problem is I get to the frame where it says Audio Test Signals for Surround sound system calibration. I goto next frame and it shows the radio shack meter and where the weighting switch should be set at, then the response, and the range. After I hit play it goes back to audio system connections part of the dvd. I get know tones to set the center,surrounds,or sub. Please help Thanks to all Joe
