Opus may have, or had 3 units in black available out of the Chicago area.
Not anymore Timdog traded a rc-64ii for one of them. That way time could have awesome LCR setup and opus had an easier setup to sell as a whole.

Hey I've seen this before on the Facebook owner page

What provider are you talking about with rentals? I use Vudu, and it all is supposedly blu ray quality with 7.1 surround. You have three options when you rent, SD,HD, and HDX. HD being 720 and HDX being 1080p with 7.1. I wonder how it could be different renting and streaming it from vudu as opposed to buying it and streaming it from vudu...
edit*
I believe this is the article you were referring to. Ya it looks like those are disc based rentals, not streaming. Sorry I jumped the gun, streaming is the only way I will rent a movie nowadays. It's about a dollar more than redbox, but I don't have to return it after.
Yeah have just read it lots of places. I only rent redbox. Only live about 1.5 miles from three of them. Plus usually take the Harley to get them. Funner to run errands on it so don't mind returning.

Are these responses not contradicting each other?
Bottom line I'm wanting to run 4 transducers, and it states you can do so off of one plate amp. I need a wiring diagram apparently.
You can run them off a plate amp. But the plate amp needs to just be a plate amp FOR the shakers. Not one off a sub. Then you just run either high or low level signal to the plate amp wherever you decide to put it. Then on the other side of the plate amp where it has leads that would normally go to a woofer, those would hook to the transducers

Then am I mis-understanding this video, is says to run an RCA cable from the receiver to the LFE in part of the amp (just as you would a Sub). Then use Speaker Wire out of the High Level Out portion of the amp to connect the bass shakers...
<a href='http://www.parts-express.com/Video.aspx?VideoID=2066'>How to Install and Set-Up a Bass Shaker. </a>
Think of a transducer just like a subwoofer. It needs a signal and then an amp has to power it.
Either eay eithout eatching that video video I KNOW 100% that no power comes out of those high outputs. Those are for running speaker wire through a sub. For input purpose only from old receivers without lfe out.

I don't even own a Blu-Ray player, I stream everything, this may cut down on quality of picture and audio but my main focus is audio. I still buy cd's. I'll take a pic when it's setup, got some work to do first.
Man if you still buy cd's you should be watching blurays too. I've yet to hear a streamed movie sound as good as the lossless codecs found on blu ray discs. Not once. Your missing out.

Hope you got a good deal on the set. Always makes me a bit sad when I hear of guys paying retail. I did that once and then discovered this forum and found out there are much better places to buy from than places like crutchfield and amazon that all sell for retail pricing.
Welcome
your avr avr will do just fine.

Welcome to the forums. Yes, the RF-82ii are great all around speakers.
I agree with Bill, RC-62ii is the way to go. Teaman just posted that the RC-62ii is on sale today - Link
I'm not sure how much the coupon code is.
Holy cow how posted with coupon code that center is like 135$ or something close to that. That's a steal and a half.
-
At that price I would buy every one they would allow and flip em. Lol
-
What's the price with coupon?

We won't shun you. lol. I will say I owned a Def tech 8060 setup. I couldn't sell it fast enough. Not enough sparkle to me.
-
And the rc-62ii is limited stock right now so grab it while you can.
-
Yeah in my opinion no need for the 64ii unless your going to get rf-7ii eventually.
Don't worry too much about the wattage. Pick the features you want on them and if you ever want to add an amp down the road make sure it has preouts
-
I've owned both the 110 and 112 rp series subs. Neither made the cut for me as they just don't play low enough. I realize you wanna stay with klipsch but the only good sub they have right now is the R-115sw. Otherwise look into svs pb-1000 or pb-2000. Or if you need small and can save some money get a svs sb-13 ultra. It will play plenty low and plenty loud.
-
I would advise not spending that much on your receiver and get a rc-62ii new while you can to match your towers. The 440c isn't as good of a center and doesn't match timbre at all.
Ive owned the 82 home theater many times. A good 4-500$ receiver will run them great. 900 is a little spendy in my opinion unless you just gotta have extra features.
-
I always recommend building around a good center channel. I think Emotiva has a good return policy. Maybe order the center to try out for a week or so. If it's really good then the rest will do their job just as well. If the center sucks well you know you'll never be real happy with it anyways since this is a surround setup.

@MetropolisLakeOutfitters Can maybe help you out with both

I have had a couple guys hit me up for khorns. One would be a project pair which I don't want. Other pair is the oak with cane. My wife just can't stand the cane on oak. So that deal would
piss her off even though he wants to trade for my cornwalls plus cash which would
be most easy on me and my bank account. I've looked into new a bit. Got one more lead on some jubes possibly also.

TV stand compatible with rp-450c
in Home Theater

Every single one if you walk making your tv. Otherwise not you wanna wall mount, again but any stand you want, and build a platform over the speaker for tv to sit on. Otherwise if you actually want a spot for a huge center to fit be ready to fork over some big money. Salamander makes some. Standoutdesigns has some nice ones made in the us. But man they are crazy expensive.
