  1. Rf-62+rc-62 all 6.5 inch drivers across the front will sound outstanding. Then just get you a nice sub. I recommend svs from the list above. They come with the best warranty, in home trial, and their customer service is the best I have ever experienced. Everything good you read about them on the Internet is true! I just ordered mine yesterday, and it was the most comfortable buying experience I have ever had with anything in my home theater.

  2. I just sold a pair of rf-82's with the rc-52 and to me that center just didn't keep up with them. I seen something on bello's site for an optional mount to hang the tv on that particular stand. You could do that and then set just the center channel on top. Would look really good and give you even more storage for things in the "center channel" compartment.

  3. Hello guys!

I currently own an Onkyo tx-sr 805. From reviews i have read on this thing it is a beast of a receiver comapred to onkyo's newer stuff. it is Ultra II certified, and it weighs 55Lbs i think. the next year's model lost like 20 Lbs. so for that reason i have not even thought about upgrading receivers at all. however now that i am looking into getting emotiva amps to run everything, i am wondering if the feature set still comes into play with the thx certification?? or would i be better off letting someone else enjoy a beast receiver that needs one and getting a new one with more features but with less power since everything will be amped?

  4. cant seem to find too much info on the trinity from def tech. wondering if anyone on here has ever heard one. i am waiting to sell my last rsw-10d and then planning on buying hopefully my last subwoofer for a while, and i want it to be a good one!! i am not sure how large of a room it will be in but i am sure even the pb-13 will be overkill. but hey i am a little man with they syndrome so nothing is too much for me. it will be paired with some rf-63's and be 80/20 home theather/music. any insight on this beast would be greatly appreciated.

  5. i have two pair of rs-42's and i love them. however after reading lots of threads about having the 7.1's being directional speakers instead of the rs series has me thinking that it might be better. but who knows. i am happy with what i have now so probably shouldnt change. although sure wish i could find a killer deal on some 52's or 62's instead since i just picked up some rf-63's and a rc-64 [:)]

  6. So as of now I own a monster power HTS 1000 stage 2. i was wondering if upgrading to the HTS 3600 MKII would be a huge difference. Also I have plugged into it a pioneer 50 inch plasma, onkyo 805, ps3, xbox 360, toshiba hd-a2, apple time capsule, and then my time warner cable box. also i am wondering if monster even compares to APC or any other brands. not wanting to spend a ton of money.

  7. you could take the SW-310 back and buy one of my NIB RSW-10D. i have heard one of the new SW-310's and was not very impressed with them IMHO. Didn't seem to have alot of power even with the gain all the way up.

  8. Bill,

I am not sure that i am going to want a sub for my 2.0 setup. i think i would like to find a nice full range set of speakers. i know every system could use a sub, however just talking the wife into buying the additional two rsw-10d's was a chore. and to tell her that i sold them and still had to pitch in more money for this new sub would take a miracle. i would rather get rid of all three and not tell her the difference i would have to pay :-)

  9. wow stephen!! thanks for breaking that down for me. seemed confusing at first but i read it a second time and it makes sense much more. with all that being said that i would have a much louder sub that would play lower, the other thing i was wondering would the one sub being that much better compare with an even output across the room? i plan having two rows of four theater seats. back row of course up on about a 8 inch platform. would the output be as even?

  10. Hello all, this will be my first thread!! let me start off by saying hello! huge klipsch fan!! haven't been for too long. Our relationship grows stronger everyday i sit in front of my home theater. with all that being said let me get to the point.

i currently own rf-82's, rc-52, rs-42 X 4, all powered by my onkyo tx-sr805. i also own three RSW-10d's. one of which is the only one hooked up right now due to space issues. i am in the military and am not yet in a permanent home to really let my home theater settle in.

So since a member on this forum i have been reading alot of reviews on these SVS subwoofers. i have personally only been into velodyne before my first klipsch subwoofer. so i guess what i am wondering if it would be worth getting rid of the three rsw-10d's for one of the SVS 13 ultra's?? i plan on having a a dedicated theater space when i move back home at the end of the year. plan on having about a 22'X16' room. music will rarely be listened to in this room as i will be starting to piece together a 2.0 setup.

would i be gaining alot of db's over the six (three active) woofers? i know i will get a little lower freq response will which make the biggest difference i'm sure. what about evenly sperad sound with three over just one beast??

Thanks for any info in advance!!
