Or you could run a single to one corner and the other to another location of your choice. That’s what i would do.

It’s a wrap.

possibly. second pic looks much redder on my computer than my phone. youd tell the brown man. they are BROWN, and when they dont have light shining on them they look almost black.

Oh man oh man. I'm up in Saint Cloud dying here. Been looking for a sub upgrade, specifically SVS. Was thinking about two new PB-2000s. I really was hoping for dual subs, but...
be prepared to leave wanting more than subs. cause once you hear the cinema series, nothing else makes the cut...
good luck with the sale! whats next?

i have eight stereo integrity 18's, and i built first 4 from flat packs, and second from scratch. and i dont push diy much unless guys are ambitious and already have the tools and the know how for the dsp and what not with the subs. otherwise i find a big lack of interest right off the bat, and i lots of cases guys getting upset that they got in over their head and wind up disappointed.

well i looked on their site and didn't see it. the ones i sat on out in california at a magnolia center were some of the comfiest ive ever sat in. they were like 899 a seat. all good leather. very nice.
-
If they are reddish at all then they arenfor sure Cabernet.
-
Are these Cabernet or espresso? They look kind of red to me.
-
i think they sell seatcraft at best buy magnolia centers. might call a local one to see if they have any to look at
-
Depends on placement in the room. Really need a mic to tell Best. However general rule of thumb is if one is front it’s at 0. If one is in back it goes to 180. Both at front both stay 0

Can you go in ceilings for atmos? Modules are ok but they aren’t made to keep up with 7’s in my
opinion.

Man read my post again please. Second sentence. The word “vertical” is in there in case you missed it.

I have to agree with matched L/C/R, but, why is it that every manufacturer builds centers horizontal with multiple/smaller drivers? Width of sound, stage, space, I'm not sure. RC-64 as an example. I feel that if I were running matched components, I would run two towers matched to my mains as my center versus one. 80/20 rule applies as I understand. If 80% of the audio/vocals during movie playback is coming from my center might as well beef it up more. I think everyone here can admit to noticing a significant difference with playback between a large set of Klipsch mains with a smallish center. If exposed to such a scenario.
I wonder about those that run Jub's. What in the world are they going to run in the center to play with them, unless another Jub, or a smaller version. So, if I had the wallet, (4) RF-7 III's for me. L, R, LC, RC. Blow holes in this theory as you will.
Just to keep size down really. If your gonna have a center they try to keep them slim to they can sit on top of a tv stand. And the wider ones make it easy to set a tv on top of them. So it’s an easy marketing choice really. I run a diy setup in my living room and have a huge horizontal center. It has the exact same drivers as my mains. It sounds fantastic for a horizontal center. But like i said it’s HUGE.

I guess I’ll weigh in since i was tagged. Three vertical LCR will trump ANY horizontal center in seamless proper soundstage for theater use. I’m not sure how anyone can make so many assumptions about a speaker that they haven’t even taken out of the box? Lol. However I’ve owned a handful of 64’s. Along with most the other reference centers. The Palladium center is the exception in the Klipsch lineup. But i believe, due to its arrangement, is why it’s such a nice sounding horizontal center. However I’d still take a lower end vertical center over the Palladium if we are doing an AT screen. I tried a vertical tower a few years back. Never have looked back. Owned a few different LCR setups including rf-63 trio, Kl-650, and have settled on a kpt-904 trio now. It’s just as good as it gets.
Op your choice for 3 7iii’s is a WISE one.

I say keep them bad boys. I sure would if Klipsch didn’t mind.

Based on those images you attached (which I removed), I definitely prefer the IIs over the IIIs. I'm in the process of planning my HT room and I am going with the IIIs as they will be behind a false wall along with my RC64III and my AVR. It's fortunate that I'm going this route and not showcasing the towers. I would be disappointed as I think the IIIs are a slight step backward in the overall visual appearance.
Any reason why you are doing a false wall and not doing three towers behind? Horizontal center would be a big mistake if it’s going behind a screen.
And cory has sold a ton of these so far. Just slow for the word to get out is all. The reviews will come.

Wonder if a same size box with 10” ultimax and a 500 watt dsp Dayton amp could compare? The little 8” ultimax i built were pretty sweet for such small subs.

Here’s the deal on the wireless. It must have sold so well Klipsch already discontinued it. I’d steer clear of it personally.
-
Hard to say. The sb-12 is good little sub. I’ve had one. But i don’t know if it will match output as a ported 10”

yep 63's to this day remain my favorite reference speaker. im waiting on a super cheap beat up pair to pop up so i can refinish them and maybe keep them in my bedroom.
-
is the 15 just to big? or price too high? @MetropolisLakeOutfitters is a dealer for klipsch and svs. you might hit him up. 115 might actually be in your wheel house is the size isnt the issue.

Oh my, dual DTS-12 in Youthman's theater room. Too bad you are 3100 miles from me. I would love to hear a DTS-10. I can imagine a pair sounds amazing. Best wishes with the sale. Sorry you are having to downsize but with that kind of cash, you can get one heck of a setup with the money from the sale.
i dont think you could get any further away from this sale. you guys can meet in the middle at my place?

I’d take bigger more efficient speakers over an amp any day of the week. But that’s just me. And I’m taking big speakers. Pro series and heritage stuff.

Crap i missed the train. I love mine. However they are ugly in stock form. They are much better than cornwalls. Except i don’t use them full range like cornwalls are capable of. I run mine with some small subs
