I am a regular eBay and Paypal user both as a seller and buyer. EBay and especially Paypal is 100% buyer centric. Even if you send to a buyer's confirmed address, they can still dispute the transaction and say they did not receive the correct item or the condition was not as described. I've even heard of an instance where someone purchased a diamond ring from a legitimate seller. The buyer filed a dispute stating they received a box of rocks, and the buyer got the refund. The burden of proof is 100% on the seller. Failure to produce said proof will result in a refund to the buyer regardless of whether seller is right or wrong, or for that matter the seller is being blatantly scammed. The only defense for this is to request the buyer send Paypal funds via "friends and family", in which case the funds are NOT disputable. If a buyer is not willing to go this route, I will never accept Paypal, end of story.

Ellis, I've got the same unit (and can vouch this is one amazing 4K player). However, I believe the correct part number is UDP-203. You may draw more attention with the correction.

Up for sale is my trusty, daily used but never abused Onkyo TX-NR3010. I absolutely love this receiver and it works flawlessly. I've recently upgraded to a 4K receiver, so I no longer have a use for this. It's approximately 5 years old and used daily. It sat in a custom built cabinet beneath my home theater screen since day one. There are several minor cosmetic flaws that I'll do my best to point out. The front is excellent condition with no noteworthy flaws. The top has several nicks and a scratch or two due to my having USB cooling fans on top. I personally believe the pics overstate the severity of these minor imperfections. The worst is the back of the receiver, where there are several scratches due to my installing HDMI cables blindly from the front. Other than that it is in excellent condition and is 100% functional. This will be shipped in the original box with original remote, AM and FM antennas, and a 100+ page printout of the owner's manual placed into a 3-hole binder. I am not entirely sure what to ask for this. Original MSRP was $2299. I'm thinking of $700 plus actual shipping (65 lbs from zip 18224, local pickup always welcome as well). These are Klipsch's top of the line in-ear headphone, with an MSRP of $549.00. They are incredibly clear and sound amazing. I purchased these several months ago and have literally only used them once. They are absolutely in like new condition and come with all packaging, contents, and documentation that came with them. I simply am not a "headphone guy", and I have come to the realization that spending this much money on headphones that I'll use once or twice a year is completely absurd. I've been looking feverishly for a set of RS-62's. Anyone local willing to help with a pickup?

Up for sale is a set of 3 - Klipsch R-5800-C in ceiling speakers. They have an 8" woofer and an aim-able tweeter. I bought these used several years ago so I do not know the exact history of them. The bad: the part of the speakers that sit up in the ceiling (and therefore unseen) is in rough condition. They are quite dirty and have a coating of a dried dusty type film on them. Each speaker has a switch to attenuate bass and treble by -3db, which no longer work. However I've never had an inclination to use them in any application I've had them in. They sound much better without the attenuators. Some of the contacts appear rusty. There are 4 mounting areas in the plastic rim for where 2 the screws go through the outer edge of the speaker and attach the metal rim that would clamp to the ceiling when the screws are tightened. On one speaker these plastic holes started to crack, so I drilled new holes in the other recessed mounting area and now it mounts up just fine. The good: Once mounted in the ceiling, these speakers appear nearly new. They sound awesome and work wonderfully. About a year ago I purchased the newer style grills (the kind that mount inside the rim versus the older ones that sat outside and were quite a bit larger). I am asking $300 for the set of 3 plus $50 shipping, which is 25% of a new set. The newer model is a CDT-5800-C and retail for $400 each. The only way I will split the 3 of them up is if I can get multiple people to commit to buying them before I will release them in less than a lot of 3. Individually I'm asking $100 plus $25 shipping each. I always welcome local pickup and a demo in Northeast PA, zip 18224. I have several more pictures that I can email if the condition of these concerns you. I have done my absolute best to try to describe the condition of these speakers and will gladly answer any questions you may have.

There is a seller offering open box RS-62 II's on ebay for $399.92 each shipped and currently has 3 available. If I hadn't just bought 2 RS-62 1st gen's off of MichaeandKlipsch I just may have jumped on them. Now I am definitely committed to finding 2 more matching 1st gen RS-62's.

He's asking $350 for each speaker. The average price on a used pair of these is about $600 for the pair, so he's not out of line. If I can find a way to physically acquire them I am sure I can get a better deal if I am willing to buy all 4.

I actually found 4 RS-62's at a reasonable price on Craigslist in Jackson, MS, but the guy is not willing to ship. Is anyone near Jackson, MS willing to play courier?

My theater is a good size, about 28' wide x 38' long. I'm planning to mount the back surrounds approximately 10' from the main listening position. I've come up with this LCD mount to mount all of my 4 rear surrounds, as the main seating area is considerably off from the center of the room and the distance to the nearest wall is considerably different left to right. As you can see these swivel, have adjustable drop, hold over 60lbs, and are under $30 to door each. With this in mind, I can basically mount any of the 4 surrounds anywhere I want, with a good bit of adjustment in the drop, and aim them wherever I choose.

I'm still searching everywhere I know to - craigslist nationwide search, ebay, audiogon, avsforum, and of course on here several times per day. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am going to replace both the side surrounds and rear surrounds which curretnly are all R-5800-C's. My concept was to have both sets be the same for a more uniform sound.

Very shortly I'll be replacing my surround speakers in my 7.1 home theater setup. The front 3 are comprised of 2 RF-83's and an RC-64. For the surrounds, I am torn between the RS-62's and RB-81's. I am wondering if anyone has had both speakers and has an opinion of which sound best. Placement and direction are irrevelant as I found a swiveling LCD ceiling mount with an adjustable drop that I plan to use to mount either speaker. Thanks very much for your help!

I'm looking for a recommendation from the vast knowledge base from the good people on this forum. My current speaker setup is as follows: Fronts - RF-83's Center - RC-64 Surrounds - (4) R-5800-C's I am looking to replace the R-5800-C's with speakers that match the front 3 more appropriately. My theater is a rather large at approximately 38' deep, 28' wide and 10' high, with the main seating area roughly in the middle of the room. I definitely do not want a floor speaker for the surrounds as there is a good bit of traffic in the rear half of the theater and I'd be fearful that they'd get knocked over. I'm thinking the RS-62's would be best for the surrounds as they will be to the left and right of the seating area, and the angled design would fill the room better. For the rear surrounds I am very much udecided whether to go with a 2nd set of RS-62's or perhaps the RB-81's? Any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions are welcomed. Thank you!!

There was a GEQ for each individual channel. I had all high frequencies all the way up on the center channel and it still didn't sound nearly as crisp as the fronts that were set roughly half to three quarters of the way up.
