I have a Samsung 3D bule-ray and a Pionner 430 BDP. I talked to netflix and they were no help or the rep was not trained well.
Ah, not familiar with those...probably haven't updated their firmware to support it yet. Bummer...
I have to redbox new ficks that I really want to see in multichannel format. My Netflix only send a stereo signal. A few guys on here said they get Netflix in 5.1
I get it in 5.1. What do you use as your player?
You may want to check your sub configuration, Looper was insane at our house, more bass than we could handle almost at some points. This movie is way up there in the bass department.Wasn't talking about just the bass.
Just finished Looper. It's worth a rent, but I wouldn't buy it. Nothing really to rave about as far as sound/video either. The sound was decent, just nothing special.
I've heard good things about marantz but in that price range I'd look for something with XT32. Not sure what the 4520 is going for these days tho...but that would be a beast.
This is what I was thinking too. Not sure the benefit of doing it over the bluetooth thing tho...I'm sure there would be some added things in there that you would use...probably even built in streaming options.
If your budget is that high, I would look at something other than the 818. It's a great AVR for the price most definitely, but I think you could do a little better considering your budget.
I was just kidding. I know S2 typically means a second version (B&W does this with their speakers). I was making jest of my High School days when using letters in formulas...ex. E=MC squared (couldn't figure out how to make the superscript 2).
E=MC^2 is how I usually do it...
I'm hoping to pick up my second SW-115 on Friday. The local shop I'm going through isn't much in the way of customer service as they rarely respond to my emails, but they gave me a great price...
