  1. Thanks to all for your advice! Think I'll try them on craigslist for $695 and if they don't sell I'll part them out on eBay.
  2. I'm in Omaha. How about you? Just noticed... you have SIX La Scalas? OMG
  3. Thanks jhoak, I hadn't thought of it that way. Be a shame to part them out but I doubt I could do them justice trying to restore them. So it just might be way easier and end up with more $. I've got the La Scalas sitting next to the Cornwalls. The Cornwalls are in better shape with deeper bass so the La Scalas gotta go on the chopping block. They (with the help of my Mac 2100, Carver C-4000 and some Sunfire amps) will help pay for a new 5 channel Classe amp for my other system. Woo hoo!
  4. Thanks, PrestonTom. I'm in Omaha and the la scalas are in rough shape, definitely need to be veneered or refinished. Do you think they're even worth $500?
  5. I have an old pair of '79 La Scalas and I'm trying to figure out what they're worth. The cabinets are badly stained birch with dings and scratches, but all drivers work 100%. I used to use them between Khorns the way Mr Klipsch recommended.
