  1. here is another thread with pics of the sub I have, if you have a smaller room than I have, this sub works awesome, I have to push it past it's limits for the the size room I have. I have a LOT of hours in the cabinet on this sub. http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/pros-joes-systems-gallery/80503-shraders-ht.html?highlight=
  2. where are you located? I have a VERY nice piano black CSS trio 12 apr15 I am going to sell, I would let it go for $500, but shipping would be crazy.
  3. Would like to stick with the rb series if possible, I have rs42ii's for my surrounds now, and someday would like to go to the rf7ii system. was also wondering about the rear ports on those? does it matter they will be against the wall?
  4. depends a lot on the price, would have to be a steal for me to get the 61ii's
  5. looking for a pair of either for my rears, must be able to ship. let me know what ya got! Reply here please, or PM. Thanks, Adam
  6. I have had a few parties already, for the football games. My friends/family are impressed that we did it all ourselves, and can't beleive the price of speakers/audio/video equipment these days. Like them, I was out of the loop for 20 years or so, and was a little shocked when we started pricing stuff, but we put the whole room together everything included for a little over $10g, and did not have to go to the bank, so it is all free and clear, wihich is the best feeling. We found ALL the ceiling tiles off of craigslist, from a few different people used, and painted all 475 of them with my paint crew sprayer (what a mess). Having a problem with the driver on my sub bottoming, but still think I am going to order another kit and buid another one, css said the would replace the driver if need be, great company to deal with, and an awesome sub!!
  7. wish I had some money left lol I would take that set up in a heartbeat. I bought the biggest I could afford at the time, and plan to upgrade to the rf7ii's and rc64ii when I can swing it, the 52ii's to a pretty good job though, as I listen to movies at 0db, so they are plent loud enough, but are lacking a little in the mid dept. I plan on building anothe css sub in the very near future to help even out the lfe in the room.
  8. Thanks for the kind words guys, very satisfying that it was done without hiring everrhing out, and MUCH EASYER on the pocketbook! There are pics of the build in the link I posted, have to copy and paste, can't seem to make it clickable? http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa13/shrader_bucket/Basement/
  9. The sub is a diy. CSS trio12apr15. Ceiling is 7.5'. Yes, you can see the screen from the comode, lol. The screen is 100" would have liked to go bigger, but ran out of hieght, but it turned out to be about right for the seating distance, in fact i have to turn down the brightness on the pj to watch movies in the dark or it straines your eyes, but is awesome for watching sports with the lights on, i will put up a few screen shots later.
  10. Here is a link to the entire build..... http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa13/shrader_bucket/Basement/
  11. Yes, thanks. We have been spending a lot of time down there (it used to be a block basement) had 30 people over for the Packer game last week, and there was a ton of room.Total room is 25'X28'.
  12. sorry for the low quality pics, my camera is down, so I had to use the phone. I satrted on this in march, and finished it on Dec.22nd.My brother in law and myself did everything except the drywall finishing and the flooring ourself. welcome any comments or critisism !

  14. Thanks guys, the room is 25'x28' deep. I am VERY pleased with the speakers, except the center. I have not run audessy yet though, hopefully that will help. probably should start a new thread, but I have 1 icon kf 26 (i think) from best buy, how would that work as a center laid on it's side with the rf52ii's ? I have no money left to upgrade the center or the towers right now but eventually would like to get a rc64ii and RF7's for the front.
  15. here is my album, pj should be here this week and the screen also. still have a ton of trim work to do, but I am getting close! http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa13/shrader_bucket/Basement/ won't let me paste a link? have to copy/paste I guess.
  16. sent you an email a while back for a price on [2] 4' speaker cable, [1] 2' speaker cable in the last color you posted, and [1] 4' sub cable, never heard back, Thanks.
  17. Where were the rs 42s? For 250$? Been looking for a pair of those for around that price.
  18. I have to say, I did get lucky in the wife dept. I actually had a cheaper set up (polk) that I had picked out, and liked the Klipsch better, but was a little more than I wanted to spend, she said she liked the Klipsch better also, and spend the money and get what you want! Nice to be in agreement with the better half when taking on an expensive, time consuming project like this.
  19. LOL, yes, building from block walls to finished HT without having to go to the bank, has been quite the challenge to say the least, wife says it has to be done by Christmas, drywall is going up this week, so it will be close. Still eating out of the refrigerator, so, so far so good I guess[H]
  20. I have pre wired for 7.1 or 7.2 but will be starting with 5.1, until my bank account catches up with the project lol. I am also finding good deals on the rs3 would those also be an option? or are they not matched well with the RF52ii?
  21. I am in the process of finishing my basement, and turning it into a HT/ bar/ entertainment area. Just purchased a pair of RF 52II's and a RC 52II got them at a great deal (rf's for $350pr, and the rc for $150) only 3 weeks old, as the guy I got them from got a case of upgradeitus. Wondering how a set of rs42ii's would work with these? and have just ordered a CSS trio 12 sub kit, to go along with a Pannasonic PT ar100u projector and 110" screen, still in the building stages, so I will start another thread with pics later down the road, just wanted to say hello, and glad to be a member of the Klipsch crowd! Great forum by the way, lot of great info here.
