I cut them closer to the actual size. The speakers seem very secure. Thanks for the advice.

I am installing four CDT-5650 in-ceiling speakers. The provided template is 8.1 inch diameter. The specification indicated a minimum of 8.3 inch cutout. The speaker actually is slightly less than 8 inch. If I use the template or the specification, the speaker will go in kind of loose. The lip will not cover much of the ceiling. Should I cut it closer to have a snug fit or it is designed to be very loose? Thanks in advance.

I plan to upgrade my center speaker and am looking at the C20. Its width (19.8") is slightly wider than the opening in my new TV stand (19"). I would like to ask if anyone have a picture of the top view of the C2 or the C20. I would llike to check if it is tapered to a narrower width at some point. I hope I can fit it in while only sticking out a little. It is too bad there is no Klipsch delaers around here for me to check it out in person. Thanks in advance.
