I've been taking care of my father and his hearing aids for the last couple of years . He currently has Beltone In ears which he does not like. This may be due to the fact he has very small ear canal's that are very hairy. We have to have them cleaned and trimmed every 4 months. I just ordered him Phonak P90's which several Audiologist recommended. I ordered from onlinehearing.com . The prices are fantastic , we will see how the service goes. We are trying the behind ear because I read somewhere the in ear close you off completely which can be a hindrance. The Phonak's strongest point is supposedly their connectivity is well ahead of everyone else.

but what else can I do ... read a book? Ha. For the record, I CAN read, I just don't like showing off.
Peace guys.
Reading puts me to sleep. Besides if the book is good they will make a movie out of it and I can watch that .

What is the crossover frequency on the 1900 system from the MWM woofer cabinets to the mid-bass or midrange horns?
I think this is what you are looking for
CROSSOVER: For optimum performance and flexibility, the use of active (low-level) filter de\ices and multiple power amplifiers is recommended, Crossover characteristics should include roll off rates of 18 dB or more per octave at the low frequency shoulder and low distortion with adequate "head room," Note that the MTM and MMTM tWeeters include a built- in passive 6 kHz crossover network and may be driven in parallel with the MSM in bi-amped (three-way) or triamped (four-way) systems, Passive crossover networks of the Type M series are designed for use only with KLIPSCH three-way or four-way MCM systems,
Crossover points: 3-way: 400 Hz 6 kHz
4-way: 350 Hz 1 kHz : 6 kHz

I you like stacked LaScalas you would have loved my MWM Stack, which blows away as many LaScalas as you can afford to stack (space wise). A 6 foot horn beats a 2.5 foot horn every time! Even my Quarter Pies at 5.5 feet beat LaScalas, which are the most successful short horns in history of Klipsch or anyone else for many reasons.
@ClaudeJ1, @Woofers and Tweeters , and many others including myself have all claimed in so many words that "MWM's make LaScala's sound like a clock radio" or something to that affect .
We are all correct !
We all think we said it first !
Only 1 of us is Correct !
And then there is that guy with the Super MWM's . LOL

@Dave A and @Marvel Sorry my post made you react with the sad Emoji . I respect both of your opinions and after rereading I can see why you would frown upon someone saying they won't help . Especially someone who has received a lot of help from this forum. I was a little perturbed by making a suggestion to a question and instead of thanks or no reply , I felt like the OP insinuated I was jumping the gun to cosmetics instead of performance. I only tried to give some perspective on a question he asked .

Edit:
Mine are think painted black, can I restore them or is this very difficult for a newbie to do?

Everyone claims that it is very easy to apply with a roller .

Let's get everything working first. After that I can think about the looks!
Sorry I answered your Question , Won't happen again !

Good to hear ! I left him a voice mail on the 17th and haven't heard back . I'm sure it's hectic being a 1 man show.

I have some brand new K402's (not even unboxed) with K691's and I'm trying to figure out what Amp to use for them. Am I correct in believing that using a Xilica XP 4080 that a Crown D75 or D75A is almost as good of a choice as any ?

I've had LaScala's, LSI's ,LSI Splits, and Belles. I ever so slightly preferred the sound of Belles but I still have 3 types of LaScala's and the Belles are long gone. Even though I preferred the Belles the sound is so close that I could not justify the cost difference .

It is a great sounding setup, you need that.
Same thing I use but the 1502 instead of the 1802.
Only a very small difference in a house, about 3 Db less bass at full blast, which is alot, it rattles the house and everything in it... In a good way of course.
I knew that and I want to be like @dtel 1502 would be fine but they are gone.
I have watched for used K402's for years and can never find any . Knowing how much I wanted them ,Claude offered me his when he sold them but I just couldn't swing it at the time . With news of the new version coming out and what I believe will be a substantial price increase I panicked and started bugging a certain guy who will remain nameless ( @Paducah Home Theater) and asked him to order me a pair of the current version. I am very excited to say the least. Now I can start messaging that same guy every 3 months asking how much the 1802 is .

I also bought a new set of K402's in January for the 2 extra MWM bin's I had .Refinishing the bins ( both bondo'd and 1 painted with duratex) but have had so little time .I haven't even opened the K402's yet.
