  1. Yes that is correct. Guess I should have mentioned who Dennis Had was in the description. I have owned a few Cary Audio pieces in the past, which have all been very nice and sounded great as well. To my ears, both the Dennis Had Inspire gear and Cary Audio gear have a very warm, rich presentation. If one wants a precise, crystal clear sound, I would look elsewhere. However the thick, rich, smooth sound of this SET Inspire amp would be a great match for Klipsch speakers in general. I'm surprised it's still here frankly, but maybe the market is not the best now? I don't have to sell the amp, but wanted to offer it to members for $750 in case someone was looking. It's a very nice little amp, and I don't know of another piece that will touch it for the price of admission.
  2. Surprised no one is interested in this amp. It sounds wonderful guys. In my opinion, it is nearly impossible to beat for $750, especially with the NOS tubes that are included.
  3. Mint/Sealed copy of Dave Grusin "Discovered Again" from Sheffield Labs. Direct to Disk audiophile recording and limited edition. I've been wanting to open this for a long time, but have ultimately decided to pass it on. $55 shipped with tracking.
  4. I have decided to sell my Dennis Had Inspire KT-88 tube amplifier. I bought this directly from Dennis and have the original box he used for shipping. The amp is in excellent condition. It comes with the power cord and a very nice selection of tubes. I have tried all sorts of tubes with this amp; This particular amp is a tube rollers dream. You can change out different rectifiers and swap in different types of output tubes. I have used KT-88's, 6V6GT's, 6LCGC's, etc. Fun, fun, fun Here are the tubes I am including: Pope 6V6GT output tubes recently purchased from Upscale Audio. These have very little use (approx 50 hours) and still need some more time to burn in to sound their best. RCA Blackplate 5Y3GT rectifier Shaguang 5U4 rectifier Russian rocket 6H1N-EB driver tube (6922 equivilent) I found two very small flaws which can be seen in the last couple pics. There is a small scratch on the base of one of the output transformers, and a small scratch on the back. Other than these two small flaws, the amp is in perfect shape. Neither one of these flaws is very noticeable, but wanted to disclose. It's a great sounding amp, and I hate to see it go. However, I have too much gear and need to thin some things out. $750 + shipping and PayPal fee.
  5. Thanks very much for the compliment Maynard. I would have to agree with you on the meticulous attention to detail on this integrated. I've owned some nice gear over the years, and this little Leben has always impressed me. Hate the thought of selling it, but it needs a new home.
  6. I am selling my VPI record clamp. It is a black delrin, threaded clamp. The o-ring is also included. $75 shipped
  7. We may be going the "construction to permanent" loan depending on a lot of variables. I have too much audio equipment to justify keeping in this time of transition. I forgot to mention in the listing above...we are a smoke/pet free home. All my gear still smells new.
  8. SOLD I am selling my Leben CS300XS tube integrated amp in excellent, near mint condition. Comes with the original box and packing material. These rarely come up for sale, and for good reason. Just read the reviews and do your research if you are not familiar with this wonderful unit. This is the US version, so no need for a step-up/step-down transformer. It comes with the factory GE12AX7 tubes and fresh quad of Mullard EL-84 output tubes. I will pack this in the original box/packing material and then double box it again for extra safe shipping. I am only selling due to an upcoming home purchase. Trying to convert some of my audio gear into cash for new appliances/remodeling/etc. This has been SOLD
  9. I am not going with an NBS over the Blueberry. I am moving over to an integrated amp and getting away from separates for a while. We will be moving coming up this year, so I am slimming down my system. That is the only reason for the sale.
  10. I have decided to part ways with my wonderful Juicy Music Blueberry Xtreme tube preamp. It is in excellent condition with no visible flaws to speak of. It comes with the custom wood case, with beautiful dove tail corners. This was the most recent of Mark Deneen's designs. This has the "Cream" option, which uses transformers in the phono section for low output MC cartridges. Phono 1 is for MC and Phono 2 is for MM. The phono section is really quite special, I must say. This summer this preamp was sent to Mark Deneen for the upgrade of the power supply, remote repair & general testing - service. I have the original owners manual and remote. I am the second owner. This will come shipped in two separate boxes...one box with preamp and one box with wood case. The factory tubes will be included, which are basically brand new (I always used NOS tubes) SOLD
  11. Anyone interested? I assure you these are wonderful sounding amps. They blow away just about everything I've ever owned, especially in the overall tone department. They sound very natural…Class A triode sound is well represented here…I have a one year old in the house and too much stereo gear. These mono-blocks need to go to a new home.
  12. Thanks, they really are great amps. Dennis Had has stated these circuits are one of his best designs to date. That is really saying something, considering the wonderful gear he designed back when he was founder/president of Cary Audio. These sold for $4000 directly from Dennis. If they were sold retail, I have a feeling they would be closer to $8000. I was using Tyler Acoustics PD-15's and also Klipsch Cornwalls. Now I have a pair of Legacy Focus 20/20 speakers. The Legacy speakers have impedance drops down in the 1.5 ohm range during certain low passages. I am thinking of moving to McIntosh solid state to power these. Although I haven't made up my mind completely. If any of you guys have Mac gear, I may consider a trade.
  13. If anyone is interested in these amps, I can keep the Pope output tubes and drop the price to $2700.
  14. Located just outside of Gainesville, FL. Local pickup/audition is more than welcome.
  15. I have decided to sell my mono-blocks due to a recent speaker change. These amps are one of Dennis Had's best designs to date. This pair of QMB-25 6v6 mono-blocks is only a few months old and sold originally for $4000. If they were selling retail, I would guess them to be priced closer to $8000. They sound that good! I am offering them for sale here for $SOLD, including full set of NOS tubes from Upscale Audio which cost well over $500. Rated at 25 watts/channel of single-ended, class A power. The upgraded tubes I am including consist an octet (8) NOS Pope 6V6GT's, a pair of NOS Philips 5R4GYS rectifiers, a pair of NOS RCA 6N7's and a new spare octet of Electro-Harmonix 6V6GT's. The amps will be shipped in the original boxes from Dennis Had. Also included is a pair of hospital grade power cords. These amps are hardly ever for sale, and for good reason. AMAZING sounding pair of mono-blocks. These are absolute mint condition, like brand new with no scratches, dings, flaws, etc. 10/10 condition. These will ship in three different boxes...one box for each amp and one box for the tubes and power cords. Shipping will be a flat $75 and please figure in 3% fee if choosing to pay through PayPal. Let me know if you guys have any questions. THESE ARE SOLD
  16. Any offers guys? This is a great sounding amp and built like a tank.
  17. I may be willing to trade for a McIntosh preamp as well.
