  2. Agreed, the exchange is bad, i dont see that getting better anytime soon. i too have about a decade left. However, i saw the opportunity, so i bought my little place in florida a few years back when the market crashed, and the exchange was $0.92. i will spend my winters there for sure. fatbiking on the beach.
  3. the universal chargers might work? as long as it has the correct voltage and current.
  4. although not meant for this application, im wondering if it would work as a decent centre channel, between a couple Jubs? thoughts? This definately addresses my height problem.
  5. sorry to hear that. We've all heard of the last ditch effort...my dog is also in his last ditch now. either this is going to work or not.i had him at emergency on new years day. but he may be incurable.
  6. i am going to take it bush packing this summer. 4 to 5 days, no tent. if im not back on the 5th day, send everyone...
  7. This picture was taken on a community trail near my house, a couple days back. as soon as i got down a bit further, i popped into the bush for some single track, there was about 2 to 3 inches of powder. 5 inch tires, there are some icy hills where spikes would be useful. if you've never tried it, give it a shot. two nights ago at the 4.5kms turnaround spot. there is a kids tobogan hill. while they were sliding down the hill,i was climbing up the hill on my bike. i find that about 8 psi is the right amount of pressure for those single track bush trails, I may try 6 or 7 psi for some of those hills.
  8. Is there anyone else that does any Winter Fat Biking? i've been doing about 8 to 9kms per day in the snow.
  9. F-20 is a pretty great diy project. The one i built is awesome.
  10. for what its worth i am using crown xti1000's for both my subs. F20 and 1802.
  11. i typically listen at -25 on my avr. i wouldnt be able to listen at reference. i have an F20 and an 1802, its pretty bad *** at the start. kinda cool but yeah, doesnt make sense.

  14. Im looking for some suggestions on good movie choices for the low end. The benchmark is if it makes the windows rattle...lol. Makes the wife crazy...
  15. I couldnt remember it off hand but as i suggested, the tangent 400 is the box you want. its a decent design, it definately has more bass. i have owned both heresy, and the tangent 400. if you have the parts copy that box. it works well. sometimes its about the adventure. i get it.
  16. im almost positive that there is a pair of klipsch tangent speakers that are larger than the heresy, and ported using essentially the same drivers. i cant remember the model off hand.
  17. my mother in law wanted to a bose soundwave thingy, so she bought one. she loves it. sometimes you cant win. i set her up with a samsung soundbar system that whe likes better.
  18. great read, entertainment at its best. thanks guys.
  19. I built my F20 Extra Wide. Using the same principles as the varying width of the Tuba, I built my F20 Extra wide at about 25 inches total including the sides. there is another thread where Mustang showed the plots. This model allowed me the best use of Wood for the $ with little scrap. Ivan, your free to stop by sometime...I am not far from you.
  20. the 1802 is big and bad...I also have an F20 that I built over xmas. its a very good design, and sounds fantastic. If your into DIY, its cost effective and sounds great. I will likely build another one once the warm weather hits. Ivan you will easily be able to integrate an F20 there for sure. A Crown XTI1000 should do the trick.
  21. Guys, I had the same issue with my kmc1. I called klipsch help support. They were able to help me. they send me a procedure to reset the unit. it involves removing the screws from the bottom of the unit, and disconnecting the battery. and reconnecting. that's it. Simple.
  22. I now have 2 KMC1's and a KMC3. they are all great. as I said before I used the kmc1's for talking on.
