  1. Happppppppyyyyyyyyyy Bbbbbbiiirrrtttttthhhhhhhddddddddddddaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!
  2. Honestly, there is only so much you can get out of the RC-3II. That's simply physics. If you want a "bigger" sound from your center, I would think you would want to look for an RC-7. It's a fantastic center. It would not be voice matched but that might not be a bad thing considering it would be a big upgrade for your center. Keep in mind, the vast majority of what you hear during a movie should come out of your center as this is where everything is happening....on screen. But you should still hear plenty coming from your mains (mainly the music score, panning of effects etc). Also do you have an SPL Meter to make sure all of your speakers are the same level? Yeah my cholesterol is high so I better get out of this thread...whaooo, my BP too...later all! great luck to you on your journey op!

Me too. http://www.tvparty.com/lostSF.html jerol Uh oh another religious and political link to make me turn on American cartoons lol my pc has no protection i'll be back to check this link out later lol
  4. Thanks for agreement...I will say sounds he is wanting bigger all the way around though. rf7/rc64 would be a great upgrade if you could find them on the economical side...then you should be quenched for a good nother 5-8 years
  5. I would try waiting to buy if you do buy(and just a larger center may do the trick? but like said it never ends at that point etc...). Sounding like klipsch is releasing new stuff in the next 6 months. They already have although I would stick with what you have...the new stuff that's out may do the job but not as good as what you have imo
  6. the logic setting...or try hall or is it just dolby digital holding back on the center?
  7. Uh oh! you better wait to buy new klipsch may just release the big new sweet speakers everybody needs! I do feel you have a very ample and great setup to use in up to 400sq ft...from that noise ratio on I would suggest possibly larger..
  8. I'm not so sure I agree Beeker, but you know a lot more than me. What gives me pause on that idea is that my Onkyo 717 has Audyssey, and it sets the balance between the speakers at reference level. In my specific case, my center is +4 and my CF-4 mains are -2, but that's because my center is an MTM with 7" woofs, and they won't keep up with the mighty Klipsch's. Even set like this, my mains are quiet and the center is dominant when watching TV in 5.1 mode with Neo6 processing. I'm afraid if I followed your advice and ignored the Audyssey settings, I'd have to boost my center even more. I'm doubtful it would balance correctly at reference level, volume set to 82 on my Onk. nobody knows more than anybody around here. we all know what we need to know and that's all we need. You have a point and I understand. Im not an audesey person. I have it on 2 of my receivers im using right now but aint using it...my buddys that have it as well use my radio as a reference but that's cause I went for broke and bought the best beat up speakers I could steal...anyhow I like to adjust myself for this very reason...I have 250 wpc amp running my chorus ii mains and my center heresy is ran directly off a receiver right now with 65 watts to it...then adjusted to preference. You need a bigger speaker maybe. Them cf3's are hogs! seriously...yet again adjusting for movies would be a snap. You have to adjust to what works...if you don't like how it sounds change it...you know what I mean im sure...center channel can be very tough to get dialed in...it takes time and the person needs dialed in to the center at the same time in a way...
  9. Interesting. Cant say iv seen that wire before...there is countless wire out there Im avoiding another wire war here although iv owned some mid/hi end cables and used cheap old 22gauge...they both played my sound okay...I make my own big fat speaker wire myself...I am trying a couple different samples a friend gave me with a setup but man for my personal favored setup my homade $50 wires on my mains sound really good. The 1/4 cables going to my rear surrounds cost about $275pr and my surround banana cables were $150pr and my center cable was $30shipped... If somebody has $300,000 speakers and $425,000 amplifier they may want some movie star wires but if a guy wants to eat I say simply cut an extension cord and rock out may have to hit the coffee and cables café tomorrow morn after this post
  10. Very true...thanks man...I feel better again for a while now The bar is set already and has been forever looking back....would be interesting to see a factory 2 way lascala or your blueprint of the 7iii ultra though
  11. turn the center up and the mains down on your receiver to the point it sounds correct then try to work on the center compensation from there.... it will take a couple days to get used to it although you will and it will sound good I would near guarantee. That setup was made to work together...very nice setup. basically perfect for anybody, anywhere. Until people get to going bigger like mentioned it never ends at that point...
  12. I see some vanderstiens(I believe, and I don't know how to spell it, if they are...very interesting speaker) back there...almost look like timeframes
  13. I love whats out already with the klipsch label. Its gonna remain stable for years. id just like to see something innovative from the tech/engineers dept at klipsch.. Its been some years.... I really want to buy some new speakers that are just flat out amazing...seems them days are behind us unless we buy the stuff that's been around for some years now... Something big, neat and new would really be great for audio...Im kinda scared to see whats next to be honest, without going into detail....audiovoxx is coming to fruition
  14. Seller said they sold the RF-7, RSW-15 and RC-7 for $700. Smoking deal for sure. Was trying to buy the RSW-15 from them but was too late. you said smoking

Captain Kangaroo, the Bozo show, and the Electric Company.Edit: and Ray Rayner. THE BOZO SHOW WAS THE BOMB! We also had happys place. We even went to the show, it was awesome lol every kid got to make an appearance on the show. I got to close then go to a commercial lol then happy got old or quit and the new happy the clown was a drunk. He got fired then the 3rd happy was in to hard drugs. Happys place peacefully went away. Bozo out of Chicago was awesome! Hi mr Tibbs. Sorry dtel...I thought you knew why I had so many problems lol a name can have a lasting effect ha
  16. That's a good link above.. also sure you could run 2 centers. simply jump neg to neg and pos to pos. To be real here I have to say there may be an adjustment to render your use of the single center into a situation you would prefer to hear. Im reading your signature considering what you have listed as your setup and I can only see that if your room were disproportionately proportioned or your seating arrangement results in not hearing the center full or properly may result in not getting the setup you have listed to not hear the center to your preference. I would suggest adjusting your receiver first unless your listening position is obscured in some fashion from hearing a proper center channel. Adding another center has at times been an idea of my own although with proper setting and settings on receiver then I normally find the single center ample at projecting sound. A more large center would be my next step rather than dual centers. rf3's with 1 rc3 seems just fine
  17. A 2 way lascala would be awesome. Or youthmans rf7iii... I have to agree with Sancho on this...nothing will change too much. The disappointment will set in with time. Id like to see something great in the next months...I would love to demo something great from klipsch and possibly buy. I really don't feel any expectations on this thread are too far from reality. I hope klipsch makes a new big step in audio. Klipsch could really use a new statement. The whole audio scene would appreciate a great new statement. I feel the air has already been let out though and I hope im very incorrect

Which cars did you race. Are you related to a Wesley Beaker, from Papillion NE. No relations as far as I know yet again beekers are rare. I raced pro nitro buggy and truggy for team losi up right til truggy went south and only used for big pro races and then electric 1/8 scale got big or what I see now days. Also ran an L8 which was an 8th scale oval dirt track car. Even with sponsors it was very costly. I loved it. The people were great. I knew all the big racers like adam drake and still keep in touch with some fellas and their kids that race pro all over the world now. I got to a point that my back could not take from hauling gear everywhere to the driving to races and being gone racing every weekend. Like I said people were great. It was an absolute blast. The big pro races would have up to 300+ entrys and last 3 days so you would show up early in the week and learn the track find a good setup and tires then get ready for qualifying. Im glad to be not racing these days. It was great although it took so much of your time and the money would be tight at times for the average racer like myself or any big time pro for that matter. I still have some things but sold my main cars which are actually outdated now...raced til the losi 8 2.0 and 8t 2.0 came out...ran them for about a year then had to stop. Keeping in touch with a few companys and racers iv considered running a car in the future again just not quite yet.

CEC Carl L the new mod here on the forum gave me my avatar when I joined 2 years ago now. I had a tarantula(tarantula represented soundstream car audio to me and meant something to me due to the tarantula amplifier and all the other killer soundstream audio I used in my teen years) as an avatar and everybody said it was freaky so I switched it. My last name is beeker. Through the years I raced 1/8 scale rc cars and on the forums I always used(I think its actually spelled beaker) beakers pic with my name. Anyhow the first time I put beaker/beeker on as an avatar I remember my ex wife and I laughing to death about the way he looked. Now days on this forum(one of the only forums I use these days) iv gotten quite a few pm's mentioning how beaker/beeker was their favorite muppet and they always looked forward to the muppets just to see him. Iv actually had to dig up old videos of him to understand him a bit more in the whole beeker perspective cause he was just a couple years before my time. He is a hoot lol I remember running around from high school through college people wanting or wondering about meeting me with my name. Im actually just as unusual as the muppets beeker lol if you meet me you wont have any idea what im talking about haha cheers
  21. weather proofed and on the porch of coarse man how wonderful that would be
  22. Im gonna simply suggest a good ss receiver is the one you can find locally that's most reasonably priced that functions properly then rely on the speakers to reproduce the playback material you listen to. Most units iv found locally I fealt was meant to be mine. Searching and looking to much has led me to receivers that just don't do the job. Good luck on the hunt! On the other hand if your patient then the suggestions on this thread are great!
  23. I love it! That's my kinda place. Im serious!
  24. Iv been using a test set of wires that the negative is smaller gauge than the positive wire. Anyhow...grab what you have! then if your not happy grab a spool of non corrosive wire and double them up...As posted skys the limit...heck them for $44k are cheapos if you look around...many of the hi $ cable actually take some weeks or more to receive ..the hardware store can get them cw's up and going today. good luck on your hunt! Just make sure both sides of wires are the same. And if long term they don't oxidize
  25. Ah now come on! when you say check these or check this pair out it should at least be klipsch!!
