  1. We have lived here for 2 years. Same life as when we lived in California, but if you are mugged here you live. The ones who are targeted have a maid, gardeners, and drive expensive cars showing off to all the locals. 1 home invasion in our neighborhood which is not gated, and they opened the gate to someone they did not know. 2. So far the only homes btproken into have been homes where the owners only live in them for a few months a year in our location. I hope it never happens too...luckily we are home more often then most people are. There have been no break ins with weapons at all. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  3. Can happen just as easily anywhere. I am making my stuff as heavy as I can or out of reach when possible. Height channels will be 13' high on the walls, and my front speakers will be around 200lbs each.surrounds are light and will be easily accessible, as will be the equipment, but we do what we can. Plus we have loose dogs in the house all the time. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  4. K402s (front 3 channels), RP160Ms (surrounds, and rear surrounds), and RP150Ms (4 height channels). Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  5. 2 more K402s on the way soon...should have my speakers all in and ready early next year, then on to room treatments, new AVP, projector, and screen. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  6. Especially when someone breaks in. Lol Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  7. Not much that is more than a divorce. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  8. I originally had 4 HIPs for surrounds, and then I moved to all JBLs. Now I am moving to all Klipsch with the new setup. Lol Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  9. Do you recommemd the same with the MEH? Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  10. I agree with you 1000%... I highly recommend doing room treatment to get your system sounding its best BEFORE upgrading equipment, unless you are upgrding for features or compatiblity. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk

Super deal! Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  13. It says a pair of 7s. Someone should snag that quick at that price. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  14. Oh...did not see multiple pages. Looks like a Polk Audio speaker too. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  15. I do not see where it says it is a 7....could it not be one of the less expensive Klipsch towers? Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  16. Our 65" 4k tv sucks power big time. I checked my rack the other day, and with 3 power amps, preamp, MiniPC, Dune player, and NAS... power consumption was 198w. TV is way more. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  17. Personally I like the focal point behind me just a bit as it is more enveloping, and I think it also makes the soundstage deeper. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  18. You can mount them up on the walls to give you a 30 degree angle, and then tilt them downward to the MLP... I am going to be doing the same with my RP150Ms. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  19. I can remember certain things from the 70s, but not many. And I am going to be eligible for SS next year. I am finding I remember less and less from years ago, and def less from an hour ago. Lol Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  20. My old setup... 3 JBL 2360As with EV DH1A drivers, 3 QPIES, 2 Danley DTS 10s, 4 JBL 8340s, 4 JBL 8320S, stack of Yamaha p2500s amps, Yamaha p7000s, Yamaha CXA 5100, Xilica xp3060, Panasonic ae8000 projector with Panamorph anamorphic lens, and a SEYMOURAV 195" diagonal 2.4 screen. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  21. I remember those, but there is no way I can remember the brand, model, and price. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  22. I believe he is referring to a true differential balanced circuit where it is balanced from input to output. This means more parts are required throughout the preamp as you must have 2 of everything in the circuit, which of course increases cost so some Manufacturers do not do it this way. As to whether or not it makes a sonic difference...no idea. Hopefully I explained this all correctly. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  23. I will report back on the monolith. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  24. I think eventually I will go to Roon...just need to get another INUC to run it on. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
  25. I will most likely be selling my Yamaha CXA5100 sometime early next year as I plan on moving to the Monolith AVP with Auro3d, and Dirac. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
