  1. The Heresy speakers already have a 12 inch woofer and a woofer that size should be capable of very deep bass. The problem is the Heresy speakers are wired for a low of 58hz. I think that maybe some work on the crossover/wiring could deliver lower frequencies. Check with some shops that do that type of work.
  2. I found the latest Heresy model to be lacking in bass and the latest Cornwall as well. I find the reference premier series- either 250 or 260 to have excellent bass and very clear. If you can live with a vinyl finish rather than real wood. I sell Jolida (now Black Ice Audio ) tube amps and once sold Klipsch speakers. These speakers go very well with a low to modest powered tube amp. The Black Ice Audio F11 and F22 amps would be great with the Klipsch speakers. In my own system I replaced the Heresy IV speakers with RP-250F speakers and I am happy. Find me on FB- Anderson Audio Gallery. I am always happy to talk about audio gear and music.
  3. We love Klipsch speakers with Jolida amps. After selling several pairs of vintage Klipsch we considered asking for a dealership. We got one. For new speakers our deals are very fair- no tax, shipping included, and priced the same as an open box item would be. Walnut in stock. Other finishes would be ordered. It is too expensive to have a lot of stock. We are too small to afford that. I am not upset, I was not clear I suppose. I just wanted to clear things up if I could. We felt we did not want to advertise the heritage series speakers on eBAy or CL, we have some ads on usaudiomart. We have a website, and we have the store. we would like to increase our local area business. but it takes time. Klipsch speakers are an excellent value. Bob Anderson BTW- help spread the word, and help clear this matter up. We would appreciate that a lot. Take care.

  5. cornwall III speakers- $3600 pair, $1800 each, no tax, shipping included in USA. Heresy III speakers- $1500 pair, $750 each, no tax, shipping included in USA. Walnut finish in stock, other finishes have to be ordered. Orders take several weeks as these are made per order. These are fair prices and terms. Bob Anderson
  6. as the dealer in question here let me say we have sold Jolida gear for several years. We are new dealers for Klipsch speakers. WE are doing the best we can. If we have confused some people we are sorry, but no need to get mad at us, or to run us down. New Cornwall III walnut finish- $3600 pair, no tax, free shipping in usa. or $1800 each. Heresy III walnut finish- $1500 pair no tax, free shipping in USA, or $750 each. Buy however many you want. we have an actual store in the Louisville area. We do not have a lot of stock in the store right now- it is expensive. see www.petery-hedden.com if you wish. No one would sell a new pair of Heresy III speakers for $850. again, we are sorry for any confusion. our deals are as good as anyone else's or better. we offer excellent deals on all Jolida gear. However, we do not sell below our cost. If you want to be mad at us then be mad. bob anderson
  7. I am the dealer. if we have confused people we are sorry. these can be sold individually, as a pair, or however many you want. We are new Klipsch dealers, have sold Jolida gear for several years. We have a pair of Klipsch Heresy III speakers in our store now, and a pair of Cornwall III speakers. $3600 per pair for the Cornwall III speakers, no tax, and shipping is free in USA. Or $1800 each. Heresy III speakers are $1500 per pair no tax, shipping free in USA> or $750 each. Hope this clears up the confusion. No one would sell a pair of new Heresy III speakers for $850 even if photo shows a pair. That is just how my partner photographed them. Most prices are for a single speaker. Again, sorry for the confusion. We do have an actual store in the Louisville area. www.petery-hedden.com And, we just run our business best we can.
  8. I am the dealer. Been selling Jolida audio gear for several years. Just recently got a dealership with Klipsch and trying to promote Klipsch speakers. Give me a break. We will sell a pair of Heresy III speakers for $1500, no tax, shipping is free is USA. Also we have a pair of Cornwall III in our store- $3600 for a pair, shipping is free in USA. These are open box- been opened to photograph. These speakers are usually priced per speaker no matter is shown in a photo as a pair. Also, if you want or like - Heresy III speakers- $750 each. Cornwall III - $1800 each. Now you have price per pair, per speaker, and an explanation. No one is going to sell a new pair of Heresy III speakers for $850. Don't jump to a lot of mistaken conclusions. see www.petery-hedden.com. Now you know the whole story. bob anderson
  9. I am not sure this is the place to post these questions, but someone might be able to help some. I wonder if the RF-62II speakers would match up well with a Conrad Johnson CAV50 amp, or MV60 amp. Or would I be better off to get into the heritage series like the Heresy speakers? I like the Cornwall, but too big and heavy for me. any suggestions would be helpful. I have considered a Jolida JD502 amp with 6550 tubes. I have always thought Klipsch speakers sound great with tube amps. I am not into home theatre at all. Just music. Right now I have some RF-52II speakers connected to a hybrid amp and it sounds really nice. thanks. bob a.
  10. This is a nice amp. I have one and love it. I also have a Fusion 3502 amp that I got from www.petery-hedden.com. Brian Higdon there was great to deal with. He answered my questions, gave me a great deal, and was honest with me. I love this amp with some vintage Advent 6003 speakers I have, and especially with the Klipsch RF-62II speakers I have. Jolida amps sound so nice with Klipsch speakers. I had the experience of hearing a Jolida amp paired with the La Scala speakers. What a wonderful sound. Thanks for letting me participate here. Have a great day. BobA.
  11. not familiar with SJ models. For at least 10 years the Jolida company in Md. has not offered an SJ models that I am aware of. I have owned several Jolida amps, and sell them too. The prefix for almost all of their gear is JD there is a JD202A - old model, and the current is JD202BRC. There was a JD502A and now a JD502CRC. Where, and when did you buy SJ models? Jolida in MD. has not offered SJ models as far as I know and that is about 10 years back. visit their site- jolida dot com. in Md. There is not a single SJ model product on my dealer price list. I was so happy with a JD202A I owned I inquired about selling for them. Now I am doing that. Sell some vintage gear as well. I like the old pioneer gear real well, and the old marantz integrated amps were nice sounding. good evening.
  12. The real Jolida is www dot jolida dot com. in Annapolis Junction, Md. I have been doing business with them for sometime now. I sell their products. Their is a company jolidaaudio dot net. They have a dealer in Fla. They are based in China. They used to do manufacturing work for Jolida, stole some designs and started making and selling knock offs. Go to each website. See who has the largest product offering. It stands to reason the company with the larger offering would be the real company. Also, jolida dot com in Md. is going to begin having manufacturing work done in the USA around the end of this year. I own three of their amps and really like the amps= never any problems at all.
  13. had a scott tube amp once. it was not refurbished, but played well. no doubt is was made well. it was playing 40 to 50 years later. a jolida hybrid i have has been on for 8 hours straight today and is not even warm. the transformers are specially designed not to heat up. it would last a long time no doubt. i think i like the jolida tube amp sound better than the scott. you ought to try it sometime. let me know what you think. my personal preference is the hybrid. it sounds better than a McIntosh 1900 i have. to me it does anyway. everyone has a different opinion on this stuff. jolida does represent an excellent value. go for it. see what you think about it. let me know. messing around with a lot of things over the years i have a preference for something newer. i do not work on the stuff so i am not able to do my own repairs. i don't have several thousand to spend either. so for me i am happy with the jolida hybrid amp i have. i have a jolida tube amp as well, but prefer the hybrid. you might not like it at all. time for bed now. been a long day for me. too long. bob a.
  14. the dealer has Klipsch reference speakers, and some Paradigm speakers. It is a small shop that does not have a lot of inventory. They also deal some in vintage gear. They had/have a McIntosh 1900 receiver in good condition. I checked that out, but the Jolida hybrid amp sounded much better. Anyway, I am very happy with my system, and I did not have to spend mega bucks. That suits me fine. Time to put a CD on. Take care, have a nice day. Boba
  15. again, i would like to say that i love the klipsch speakers with the jolida amp. these make the best sounding system i have ever had. i have had a lot of different gear. and the guys at petery-hedden co. were great to deal with. call them. the phone number is 812-945-5215. or call 812-557-2497. i was amazed at the sound of the klipsch reference model i got. how nice. i am happy. don't plan to change anything for a long time if ever.
  16. integrated. i like an integrated amp as there is less to mess with, and less money. i love the jolida amp. great value. i understand that towards the end of the year manufacturing will be moved to usa. they are serious about making a great product. hope this helps.
  17. hi, i have been a long time fan of Klipsch speakers. I have had a pair of Synergy SF-1 speakers, and now a pair of RF-52 speakers. I have used with a vintage Marantz integrated amp, vintage McIntosh receiver, and now with a Jolida hybrid amp. I tried a Jolida 40wpc tube amp, and with a 50wpc Jolida hybrid. I could not make up my mind which amp I liked best with the speakers. I settled on the hybrid, and I have never regretted it. The speakers are great and I love the cherry finish. That looks nice in my living room full of wooden furniture. And the Jolida amps are much better than what I thought. I am impressed to no end with them. I bought the speakers from an online dealer and the amp from a Jolida dealer with a store in New Albany, Indiana - Petery-Hedden Co. Get in touch with Brian or Bob there if you want to good deal on some Jolida gear and some advice. They are great to deal with, and they have Klipsch in their store, and in their homes. Want a great sounding stereo? Get Klipsch and Jolida. There you go. Both very well made products too. I love my speakers, and I love my amp. I love nice sound, but do not have thousands to spend. Hope this helps someone make up his/her mind about what goes together well.
  18. hi, being a dealer for jolida and taking trades and dabbling in vintage gear as well i have recently gotten a mcintosh 1900 receiver in real nice condition. so i hooked it up to some klipsch sf-1 speakers and gave it a listen. sounds fine, nothing special. then i did some comparing between jolida jd102 amp and the mac. the 102 blew the mac away. as with all of the jolida tube amps, and also the jolida hybrid amps. the mac sure does look impressive though. i find that klipsch speakers sound fine with tube gear, or with the right solid state gear. a vintage marantz integrated 1070 amp sounded about the best so far of anything i have tried. the old marantz gear sounds so good because then they did not use filters on the highs or lows- it just came out according to the max range of your speakers. i recommend using an amp of 50 watts or less with klipsch, even 30 or 35 is a lot with speakers having 96db or greater efficiency/sensitivity. these are just my thoughts and discoverings. i used to have a love for vintage gear, but aside from nostalgia there is nothing so special about it really. lots of knobs and switches to look at. big and bulky and heavy. american men like big and lots of knobs i suppose. it is better to buy new, or fairly new though. jolida makes a small 30wpc hybrid amp that sounds great with the klipsch speakers i have. it sounds sweet and is only 11.5" wide, 3.5" high, and about 7 or 8 inches deep. one could get it new for $400 or less. if you have to have a vintage receiver get a pioneer sx 850 or 950. those are great with real wood veneer. look nice and sound nice and tuner section is strong. other than that get something new. jolida does sound great with klipsch. check it out. take care. have a nice day.
  19. I first dealt with Jolida about 10 years ago. I dealt with Jolida.com in Md. I am also an authorized dealer now with a brick and mortar store in New Albany, Indiana. Jolida in Md. is the real deal. Believe what you will, but that is the fact. I have read numerous great reviews about Jolida gear, the cd player, the tube amps, the hybrid amps. One this that tubes do not like is a "jarring"- like a light bulb- jar it and when you next turn it on it goes out in a flash. People never tell the whole story, or even realize it sometimes. Dust collecting in the tube sockets is not good either. If one sits for a while it is good to take the tubes out, clean, reseat tubes, rebias. I am talking about just sitting in a closet for a couple of months or more. Jolida amps have been improved upon over the years. Are excellent for the money. It would be hard to find a ss amp / receiver at $1000 that will compare to the Jolida hybrid. I have read a guy saying he just does not get good enough bass from his Klipsch speakers. I have an older pair of the F10s- SF-1. I use 10 per ft. speaker cables and $150 interconnects. I get plenty enough bass. Most reviews of the RF-62 mention the bass is heavy. Recently I had asked what would be good amp to use with Klipsch. Many said tubes. Some said a Jolida 202. Good choice. Thanks for all the input. Right now I am using a vintage Marantz 1070 integrated solid state amp. It sounds great with the Klipsch. I am going to begin using a Jolida hybrid soon. And then use a tube amp for a while. We never have more than a couple of units on hand at a time, and we sometimes have a good buy on a demo unit. Once we had the Jolida tuner (discontinued now). It was the best tuner I have ever ran across period. It picked up stations far away as 100 miles. And, small, weak stations. Jolida does stand behind their gear, and you can receive service from them in Md. Or their dealers. We do. It always gets down to what you like to hear- what sounds good to you. And, an angry person cannot write an objective review, nor comment on a forum. A person wanting to show off by talking audio jive is .... well, why does that person not just go ahead and buy a Conrad Johnson, or Cary and not even worry about Jolida? Talk is talk, and it is cheap. The Jolida in MD is the real deal. If you do not believe me, ask Wally at Underwoodhifi.com. I like dealing in vintage gear too. Hopefully after the first of the year my partner and I will be able to invest in some more inventory. Thanks for all your comments. With real good speaker cables, and interconnects, one might be real happy with a pair of F20s. Some vintage solid state hifi gear sounds real smooth, but has some bass. I also think that a 100 watt amp is a bit much for a pair of sensitive speakers like Klipsch RF-62. 35 watts would drive heck out them. I have seen a 1 watt tube amp drive Klipsch speakers. Good to be here again. Thanks.
  20. hi, right now i am using an arcam integrated amp and arcam cd player. i have good cables and interconnects. i like it. have klipsch sf 1- same as f10. never sounded so good as recently when i got new cables, and the arcam gear. got arcam gear used from a repair shop - good deal. however, i am interested in getting either rf62 or rf52. need to decide which will meet my needs best. so many reviews say rf62 is bass heavy? well, now the sf1 have lots of bass. amazing considering. many say tube amps are best with klipsch. if you go with solid state i should think it very clear and mellow. i like jolida hybrid and their tube amps too. anyone got anything to say about jolida with klipsch? any experience with jolida jd102 or jd202? thanks for any help.
