  1. I will check out BT Audio’s pics, if he has any and see if they look the same or not, that would be awesome if they’re the right woofer!
  2. So I was just looking at the speaker’s part number from one of the posts and it has the black dome in the middle, mine don’t have that, but I’m almost positive they are RF-7’s not the II’s, am I wrong?
  3. Also, are you talking about the woofers with the black in the middle or the ones that are all copper, I’m almost positive my speakers aren’t the RF-7II’s, but they don’t have that black part in the middle. Would that mean they are in fact RF-7II’s or did they have two different versions of the RF-7’s?
  4. Would you be willing to sell a single woofer by chance? I have a dent in one of mine and at the moment, I really can’t afford to buy both.
  5. Hello, I have a pair of RF 7’s and one of the woofers has a pretty good scratch on it, I procrastinated on fixing them way back when the scratch initially happened, now it appears as though you can only purchase the RF 7II and III replacement woofers. Hoping that someone on here maybe has an old set they are parting out or something, any help would be appreciated immensely, I hate to look at the beautiful woofers and see a dent/scratch!! Ian O.
  6. Well I just read W27’s post and it sounds like there will be differences with the newer woofers, I guess I should have read all pages before posting! Maybe I will post a wanted ad or something, pray there’s someone with an old pair they are parting out
  7. Hello, I see this is an old post, but I have a pair of RF 7’s and one of the woofers has a fairly large deep scratch in it, I put off replacing it like a dummy and now you can’t find the proper replacement. I was wondering if there is any difference in the specs of the RF 7II and III woofers that would mess with the sound? The scratch doesn’t seem to make any difference in the sound that I can notice, but for aesthetic reasons I would definitely prefer to replace it. Luckily I have a Dremel I can use to do what you did on yours, I’m just worried there are differences electronically as well. Any help would be appreciated!
  8. Thanks soooo much this will really help, I should have checked back sooner! I appreciate all your help and will keep you guys updated with my progress...
  9. I have a pair of P 39F's and the bottom woofer on each one have imperfections. I would like to replace them and have even called Klipsch about the replacements. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this? I want to do it myself but am very worried I could mess them up further. Has anyone had to have this done before and you have an exploded view or know of someone qualified. I'm hoping if I need to bring them somewhere it doesn't cost an arm and a leg...
  10. I just bought a SW-311 brand new and there is a weird electronic buzzing noise coming from inside the back of the enclosure at least that's what it sounds like to me. I'm not sure what to do about it, when I turn the volume down on the sub itself the buzzing goes away but when I turn the receiver volume up it comes back again. Anyone else have the same problem?
  11. Sorry like I said I'm new to all this, in the past I've owned HT's in a box lol
  12. I was planning on doing a passive bi amp but if u think installing an xo is better I will get one depending on how much it is...
  13. I am waiting on a pair of RF 7II's to arrive to use with my NAD T787, I am planning on bi-amping them and using it as a 5.1 receiver instead of 7.1. I'm wondering if this will power them properly? It's 120 watts per channel from what I've been reading so I was thinking that would double the power going to them. If u can't already tell, I'm really new to this whole game as far as the technical aspect of things goes. I'm really hoping I don't have to purchase anything else for the setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I can supply any other info that might be necessary...
