Yea I'm sure it's not a THX Dolby Atmos certified setup but neither is quad 18's next to three KPT904's lol. Guess nobody will know unless you try it for yourself in YOUR room with YOUR ears. If that doesn't do it then invite some friends over and if you see any jaws drop then you know your on the right track.

They would only hang over the top by 2". With some rubber feet I doubt the small four inch driver is gonna bounce the speaker around. It might look kinda dumb with the over hang though and shelves directly above the 62's is a good idea. Problem is they will be only 24-36 inches below the ceiling. Would this effect the sound?

I've also been thinking about diving into Atmos but going the RP140 modules on top of my 7's then maybe two more in the rear. Suppose putting them on top of my RS62II's would be a bad decision? The 62's are 12-18 inches above my head and about one foot behind me. So would stacking them on my 62's be a bad decision? That's really the only other place I could put them because my room is only 1900 cu ft. Then ofc I have to sell my beloved 4520 and thinking about the Marantz 7010.

Hmm it's only a 4" with a 1" with a hefty price tag to boot. I can't see this being worth it IMO. I would think my 7's would drown it out completely then again I maybe wrong. Why not make a few different models with a 5" or 6" driver to accompany the bigger towers. I'm on the fence and need to hear a demo before I venture up to the whole atmos world.

they are all buying the wrong thing! cinema is where its at and everyone will figure it out one day. reference all day on a couple watts from my avr: That video reminds me of the demo Ryan gave me of his system the day I picked up my 7II's. Those 904's are just simply awesome. When I have a dedicated room that is the exact direction I will be going. Three 904's up front and call it a day. Bi-wiring 102 db with 1 watt/1 meter speakers hee hee. Not something I would ever do. Switch that Denon to 2 channel Stereo mode and run a house curve. Put jumpers back on and forget about bi-wiring. That Denon alone will flex those woofers.

I've owned the RC52II, 62II, and now own the 64II. It just keeps getting better the farther up the chain you go. The 64II is timbre matched to the 7II's so its a no brainer. I wouldn't say it's leaps and bounds better than the 62II but does have a bigger sound and clarity is better with the bigger 1.75in driver. I run it at 80hz and run my 7II's at 60hz. This sounds best to me in my room.

Yea and there is many others who have gotten rid of their external amps with high efficiency speakers and said they noticed no different at reference volumes with flagship AVR's so whose to believe but your own ears. Obviously everyones EARS and ROOMS are different. I'm still at a standstill with my 4520. I'm hitting 115'dbs clean at reference in a 1900 cu ft room running a 5.1. Do I really need an external amp? I'm still contemplating whether I could spend the 1000.00 somewhere else or just try a amp. I just got done listening to a friend who has three RF7II's for his front three running an Emotiva XPA-5. Quite frankly I thought my rig sounded better with just a 4520. Then again maybe it's just the Denon sound which I prefer? Not sure

I also store all my music on a thumb drive then just plug it into the front USB of my 4520. I use to stream it from my laptop but a few times I would lose connection and when your running at high volume levels and then a sudden stop just annoyed me and don't think its very good on the AVR as well. I always listen to music in stereo mode 2.1 with a house curve. Bluray concerts usually 5.1 master audio.

I don't have a twitter account either but started going through Klipsch twitter after reading this thread and saw my setup along with many other well known pictures and systems I've seen before.

Scrappy they also put your picture comparing the RP260 vs RF42II. They have used my setup a few times and once in one of their poster images. Youthmans pictures are used weekly hahah and his infamous best buy ever photo of the entire divorce deal. I think that picture is well known around the world.

Did you sell the 4520? I would think that would have some pretty decent go go juice in two channel mode for your Palladiums. The 4520 does 175 w/ch with only two speakers running. It powers my 7's fairly nice IMO.

You want to make sure your getting the best possible deal and equipment. I'm sure you'll be happy with your final decision as all of your choices have been excellent.

Ha I think he was scared I might like them too much until he gets back in town. He sent the money via paypal right away. They do sound very good but I really do not have the room for them. They are big for sure. I will have some fun with them until he gets back. He already has a set so now he will be running quad Corns in his livingroom. Oofta!

My friend that was out of town text me yesterday saying a lady on Facebook posted a picture of some Cornwalls asking 250.00. I contacted her immediately to go check them out. The cabs have some scratches, the grills were broke down by the bass ports, missing one Klipsch badge, and a few spider nests behind the grills. The drivers looked fine and they sounded great. Got her down to 175.00 and brought them home. Holding them till my buddy gets back in town next week. They need some work but for that price I couldn't let these go. The serial numbers are 8444262 & 8444263. I'm assuming 1984's? Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks
