  1. My hometheater consists of klf20 front , kv3 center, kg.5 sides , .klf10 rears. I have the klf10's in the rear corners . They are tall enough to go over the couch so the tweeters are at ear level. I have a very big room ,its 16x28. Not to toot my on horn but to me and who ever hears it loves it. With klf30 and klf20 yours will sound awesome
  2. I have klf20's and klf10's . My son @dtr20 has klf30's and rf7's. With that said , we have Crites tweeters and fixed cabinets and rebuilt crossovers. With all that ,I think the klf 30's are a great speaker , way better than rf7. The klf20's are a great speaker and I think they are better than the rf7. Like @SWL said , with a little work they will be awesome. Crites tweeters are about $70 , you will spend some money on the crossovers unless you rebuild them yourself. If you did get them , you will have an awesome hometheater and great 2 channel
  3. Im looking at the same receiver and im wondering the same question . Im looking at that and a yamaha.
  4. Hi History Kid , Ive never heard of the rp-260fa , do you mean the 280-fa
  5. Welcome to the forum , did you go look at them?
  6. Welcome musiced, a KV3 is a nice center for the 5.5. Even thou the 5.5' s have 2 10' s , I would still use a sub.
  7. Sorry for highjacking the thread but Im looking at the pioneer elites (sc-lx801) and some equiavlent yamahas if anybody knows anything about them.
  8. THATS IT, GO TAKE A 15 MIN. TIME OUT!
  9. Welcome to the forum Vasubandu.I have heard Paradigm in 2 channel but not in home theater. I have KLF 20s for my fronts , KLF7 for center , KG.5 for sides and KLF 10s for rears, and 2 15" subs,3 12" subs. Who ever hears my system, loves it . You can hear every detail no matter how quiet or loud it is. Ive heard a few systems and I know im biased but I do love my system.
  10. There should be 2 brass pieces of metal that look kind of like a z that go red to red and black to black or you take them off and you can bi wire them.
  11. Welcome Dustin, What is the problem with the original woofers? They can be rebuilt.
  12. Welcome roughlytraded, my son had 5.2's and I have chorus 2. I know there not chorus 1 but I love these speakers , I think there awesome. There is definitely a big difference .
  13. Hi Silentknight , Look for some rf62s, rf82s,klkf10. They will all be used but they will sound a whole lot better. Build by buying a piece at a time. You will thank yourself in the end

  15. if it is open to the sub floor I would get something like a kg.5 and just mount them in the correct locations and aim them down
  16. My son @dtr20 has 2 sets of rp-140sa . I think they sound awesome . The r-14sa is the new reference series which is the old synergy series, I havent heard them but I dont think they would be as good as the rp-140sa.
  17. Welcome Arcturus 17,we would need some information. How big is your room ? Do you have a A V R ? Would you be willing to buy used?
  18. I played with some forte III today and they didnt sound good out away from the wall , I moved them closer to the wall and it got better but I wasnt able to get them more than 2' away from the wall. I think they would sound better about a foot away from the wall give or take a couple of inches.
  19. Welcome to the forum. Why dont you look at the new forte III? They are a lot smaller than the cornwalls and go a lot deeper than the heresy, I think the best of both worlds.
  20. . That will keep it going strong. Let us know after the first movie how it sounds.
