I think fryes right off exit 5 still has them and has a main room that consist of nothing but klipsch with a screen, at least last time I was in there it was still set up that way. Ovation may also be a place to take a look, I'm about an hour north of Indi and don't know of much places that have them set up for viewing. Wish I could help more since I'm closer than some but I'm worthless lol

I'm running a Denon, the lower of the X series (X-1000) but it sounds much better with my Klipsch than my Yahama ever did.

I like the idea but to run a 6.1 I'd be needing another 3 speakers for starters and I'd like to keep it a little smaller than setting up 3 Heresys plus a massive sw115. I've got the SW112 in the living room and it's more than I need now so throwing a 115 in the garage would just crush everything! I do like the idea though

Actually the 55 don't look bad, the picture doesn't give it justice! But the 70 is going to have to wait, I plan on buying a tv, AVR, and a small pieced together reference series system of the klipsch website all at once so it'll prolly be around this time next year before I finally get around to having the garage ready for it all. Besides, my boys ain't playing in the game this weekend but I can't let the hawks win, go broncos lol

The tv is a 55 inch now but a 70 will be in its place with the 55 going in the garage with a nice small reference series system

The 2 pictures of the rears, do you see any other place possible to mount them or am I stuck with them as is? The picture that's missing is the back wall, it's only about 4 feet wide, there's a closet on one side and a hallway on the other

Sounds much better than my old living room just for the fact it's slightly smaller and carpeted but when playing battlefield 4 that speaker on the right rear is there, and it makes itself known it's there. Are they mounted where they should be or would you guys recommend different placement? I can always patch the holes I made

Well I've started putting the living room back together and curious as to what you guys think of the surrounds? I don't really think I have much of an option on placement due to the hallway and front door. Any ideas or think I'll be alright? The thing that bothers me is the right rear, it's almost right on top of the siting position. Granted, most of my friends and me included tend to slump down in the couch is it still going to be an issue being that close? I've already ran audyssey and finally got my sub in check so that's a plus.

I seen snake and arrow on sale in the $5 bin at at best buy, I'll prolly just go back and pick it up and see if it's any good. Wish I could find one with Pink Floyd and Avenged Sevenfold. Yes, large difference between those bands but they're my favorite 2

I was wondering if anybody happens to know if Rush has any blu-ray concert disks available. I'm gonna be completely honest on this, I haven't even looked. Been shoveling out snow for 2 days

I don't think its a bad mic. It sounds decent but I know enough to know that -12 isn't that good of a thing. I think it's a lot to do with the room being bare and not using a tripod

Hmmm. Imo, if you aren't using a tripod or running Audyssey as instructed then there could be several reasons you aren't getting good results. No, I'm using the mic at ear level at 3 places where me and my wife sit the most in the living room. It's weird, if I go lower it blows the sub way out of where the rest of the speakers are at, if I go up to 50% it kills the sub to -12, I can't find a happy medium for some odd reason. The room is 21X14 with hard wood floors. Question, we're currently in the process of moving so I'm missing a lot of pictures, blankets, coverings, etc. that would possibly help tone down the system. Would this possibly be causing an issue?

Well I'm either stuck at -12 or -12! Seems it don't matter what I set my sub to, it's either too weak to pick it up on mic or it blows it away and sets it at -12, guess I'm gonna have to manually play with this while again

It really don't sound bad as is but -12 seems like I'm taking away from something that could be so much better. I'm gonna rerun it at about 30% and see what I get

I'll start off by saying Happy New Year and I hope everybody had a great holiday! Now my issue, I've been on vacation for 2 weeks and been playing with my AVR. Issue is no matter what I do audyssey sets my sub to -12, my settings on the sub is power at 50% and I've tried the gain at 50, 75, and 100 (dial wise) and it still sets it to -12? Anybody have any ideas?

Sorry, I should've been clearer. I haven't yet moved. I'm still set up at my old home. I went with the X1000 over the X2000 just from scrappys suggestion and some forum surfing and realized the X1000 was better for my needs. I have a little hunger for some more bass and I have plenty of sub for what I want but just don't really want to tweak anything with it until we move cause it'll take me forever to hit that sweet spot. You'll enjoy the icons. I have and have decided to start throwing cash back towards a set of reference series. Plan is to have reference in the living room and move the icons to my game room when I'm finished

I have the exact same setup minus the sub, I went with the SW112 instead. Felt it was better for my needs. I love my setup, I could always upgrade but with a 2 1/2 year old I'm not trying to dump money in something that I can't get the full use out of it yet. The only difference between our setups is the sub and AVR. I went with the X1000 instead. Don't need the 7.1 and recently bought a new home and don't have room for 7.1. So far I like the Denon sound over the Yamaha but haven't set it oh at the new house just yet. Going from hardwood to carpeted floors so I'm sure it'll sound different

The PS4 had about a .4% failure rate at launch. Several people complained about it but it the amount of units sold it wasn't bad. I would expect around 1% of units being defective when dealing with electronics. I'm sure the Xbox One will have the issues at launch as well. People who was reporting about the PS4 was pretty much leaned towards a bad HDMI slot saying it was either loose and wouldn't work or just wouldn't work at all
