  1. Shipping will, usually, put the price out of reach for a good deal. Posting your travels will help you if someone is interested. How much are you willing to let them go? Any pictures of the tops?
  2. What you will get out of them has a lot to do with location, condition and how long you're willing to wait. Prices can swing both ways and each way is the exception. As was mentioned, keeping the Forte II is what you or your friend should do, event if there's no use for them today. The Forte ii will be worth between $400 to $700 going from scratched and banged to mint...and their location. GLWS
  3. Hi Mike and welcome to the forum. Like you, I want a pair of Cornwall too. Good luck on your search
  4. $600 for Chorus 1 is a good price for both buyer and seller, if they're in good condition. Those are in rough shape, but 400 isn't a bad deal, less starts being a good deal and the lower the gooder.
  5. They can ask what they want, getting it is a whole nuther matter Those do look nice
  6. She has a right to be pithed. No earrings are worth that much.
  7. Agreed, it's a good deal. Ad said firm, meaning there is room for some movement.
  8. I can't believe his wife doesn't like all of that.
  9. Who's been thinking about building Jube clones? GLWS
  10. If I still had the RF-83, I would A/B them to the MCM1900 It takes a lot to rock me. If someone has a system that can reproduce a 9' grand and make it sound like one was in the audience, then you have my attention I can only reproduce Tubas and Bagpipes.
  11. Happy Birthday. I'll bet it's getting loud at your place.
  12. Great speakers in great shape for a great price. GLWS
  13. I thought these were talked about for $400?
  14. That'll look awesome, cane with Cherry. Delicious. Before we got a piano and the room became small, I had Chorus IIs hooked up to an HK 730. Lower wattage receiver but enough to rock out if needed. That Yamaha will do very well. I agree about some of the smaller power sources. Though I had a 38 Watt Marantz 2238, you're to blame / credit for me having a HK730 twin power. Thank you
  15. If they don't have to be Klipsch and you want something affordable, these are pretty nice. A bit of a drive though. http://desmoines.craigslist.org/ele/5544931440.html Bill I tried for those...gone
  16. Thank all of you military personnel on here and most of all the ones who aren't with us any longer.
  17. They look beautiful and I'm sure that pictures don't do them justice.
  18. Similar to Shine, it's tough to get the fermented in a rubber tire, distilled by setting the tire on fire, siphoned through a garden hose and strained through a copper radiator flavor out of it.
  19. I know, but geez, how much Mcintosh stuff can one person have?.......I mean, cmon Brandon..... I wouldn't know
