    What I Got Today!

That is awesome. I've got a kids play set next to the pool that I'd love to swap out for a ramada. It's close to power and I could do what I wanted with the space.

    What I Got Today!

Yes radiated for quite a while. You could wet it down but when it's 113 and in direct sun all day long it was always hot. its all light colors now to help combat the heat.

    What I Got Today!

We do spend a lot of time outside. The pool is next to a casita so we have a fridge, TV and music available. The grill and outdoor fireplace are all convenient too. I'm really hoping this tile is much cooler than pavers. That was the #1 goal.

    What I Got Today!

Replaced the patio around my pool. Tan pavers that got to about 10,000 degrees during hot AZ summer days. Also removed a gawdawful waterfall for a slight reconfigure of the whole area.
  5. I'm sure I missed it but when are these new offerings going to be available?
  6. This is a good choice. Almost plug and play out of the box. I have one in red and it came with an ortofon red cart. Pretty decent cart to get started.
  7. I do still have the academy. Fountain hills but work in Tempe so have speaker can travel.
  8. Regardless of format (cd vs vinyl) always in alphabetical order. The battles were won or lost long ago between the Black Keys and Black Sabbath. I need an easy way to find what I'm looking for and genre or some other more esoteric way of sorting is too much for me.
  9. I recently had my crossovers out for a rebuild and tweeters out for new diaphragms. Black wire is negative and green is positive.
  10. These are back on Phx CL for $2999. Im about 50 miles from Maricopa, in case this is getting close to someone's wheelhouse. Also a pair of belles in Maricopa but no pics.
  11. Jim in on grilles. Zeus and DTR in on risers.
  12. Looks like AL and AL-2 were both introduced in 1983 and AL-3 in 1989.
  13. Pre-Christmas bump. A GREAT replacement for crossovers that you want to replace or upgrade.
  14. Tim i bumped this as I'm interested. Will send a PM after work. ryan
  15. All gone Also check my other ad for a pair of Deang B crossovers for cornwalls.
  16. Maybe true but the price doesn't have craigslisters scooping them up either. Same net effect.
  17. I emailed the seller briefly a couple months ago. He didn't appear to be in a hurry to sell...maybe like he told his wife he was trying but had them priced high. Cherry is what he told me too.
  18. Khorns are from 1994. ak-3 was used from 1989-2001. 4th and 5th digits of s/n indicate year of manufacture.
  19. It depends on the material. I swear something was rattling on one of my speakers while watching a scene in Gravity. Sandra Bullock is in one of the other shuttles trying to get back and she is flipping a toggle switch over and over again. Of course, somewhat quiet scene with no other action going on at all. But for the most part atmos doesn't jump to the forefront. Panning is cool on anything overhead (Mission Impossible:Rogue Nation or the plane flying over Roger Waters in the WALL.) i have in ceiling atmos however so we planned ahead on seating and where other surround speakers were going to be located.
  20. Sagging could be a problem. If you flip the grille with fabric up, I'd press down on the cane to see if gluing will actually help. Meaning, if you push it down does it look like it would lay flat or have waves? If it would lay flat I'd flip it and apply some adhesive (maybe contact cement) and add some weight, making sure the cane surface lays flat. Disclaimer: I sold my Cornwalls before i could have done this myself. You might not be able to do much depending on sag and pliability on old cane.
  21. Kind of a drive from KY though. At this rate they will sit on my shelf until close to thanksgiving, maybe someone looking for a Black Friday gift for themselves or a loved one.
