Thanks to all for fantastic responses. Really.

I was given a pair of these and tragically blew them out at a NYE party. Nothing sounds as good and I'm trying to replace them. Frazier in Dallas doesn't repair older speakers and can't direct me to somebody in the New York area who might be able to repair them.I check Craigslist and eBay regularly and would be willing to pay to transport a working pair from anywhere in the country. I'd also welcome any suggestions about what other brands sound this big/deep/good/horn-heavy for funk and Allman brothers and general nothing-sounds-this-good satisfaction.
