  1. Refer to the previous post as it references this picture of my 1977 set of Audio Amateur.
  2. Here is my 1977 set of Audio Amateur - I can sell this set for $20 CAD plus shipping from Canada. These magazines are like a reference text book.
  3. I am posting this ad to see if there is an interest in buying my duplicate full sets of Audio Amateur, Glass Audio, Speaker Builder and Audio xPress magazines. If so, please contact me and I can check on a specific year. For pricing example, I have a 1970 full set of Audio Amateur that I will sell for $20 CAD plus shipping from Canada. Thank you.
  4. I have a working B & K Dyna Quik Model 650 Tube Tester and am looking for a 610 panel for it which will allow me to test EL 84 tubes. I live in Canada. Thank you.
  5. I am looking for a Philips 212 cartridge carrier that will allow me to use a standard cartridge for my Philips 212 turntable. I have attached a picture from the Internet.
  6. I am looking for a Sound Technology 1000A or 1020A FM Alignment Generator to fascilitate alignment of FM Stereo Tuners. I will be driving south along the I-75 during the November 29 - December 10, 2014 in case there are any deals out there.‏
  7. I will be travelling along the I-75 on the way to Florida during the November 29 - December 10, 2014 time period. I am looking for a Behringer ECM 8000 microphone like the one in the image to use as a secondary reference for room analysis and also for my K-Horn tweaks (one project will be implementing my Trachorn 400's perhaps going to an active crossover). Other deals I am interested in if the price is right, is a suitable cartridge for my Philips 212 (Shure 97 or Shure V15) or even a Philips 212 parts table. I may be interested in a Technics 1200 as well (the Philips 212 will be the table I use to get back into vinyl).
  8. I may be interested in buying one matching K33E round magnet woofer.
  9. I definitely prefer dealing with an asking price as many times the seller can be insulted if the offer is deemed too low (this just happened to me today when I replied to an ad for some NOS Behringer gear that has been replaced by a newer model).
  10. I bought these from Adam and they arrived in excellent condition - thank you Adam for packaging them so well and for the deal! Greg
  11. I seen this ad on CAM this morning and was going to post it to the forum. The seller mentions that the 1956 set he is selling "sound far better than any modern Klipschorns". So far, I have only heard my 1985 vintage K-Horns and two different sets of 1977 vintage K-Horns which all sound excellent.
  12. I actually used 3M tape when I scratch-built electrostatic speakers years ago (to fasten the diaphragm to the metal stators) and also to fasten the Saran-like film to the dust covers of various Quad electrostatic speakers I have rebuilt over the years. Ironic how this 3M tape will be useful for me for my 1985 K-Horns!
  13. I actually have some 3M tape that I was thinking of using - for a smooth surface, I am thinking it may be ok and on fabric, I am not sure if it will hold for a long time. The thing about the tape it is reversible.
  14. I will look for that here in town - from reading about it, it will be useful to have around the house.
  15. I went on their site and there are a few different types - which type did you use? I have a hot glue gun and have mixed results using it for various other tasks. I will also keep that as an option.
  16. I bought some original Klipschahorn copper badges for my 1985 K-horns and want to put them on second set of grills. Does anyone know the type of adhesive Klipsch used for this purpose? Thank you for any information! Greg
  17. The K33E Woofer is still for sale - this particularly is a great deal for anyone near the Toronto, Ontario area in Canada.
  18. I have found some badges. Thanks for viewing my post.
  19. I am interested in the copper badges. What is the price shipped to Ontario, Canada? How do I send you an email? The system only seems to allow PM's. Thanks. Greg PS. I added you as a Friend.
  20. K85Horn, May we assume you have 1985 model Klipschorns that you are wanting badges for?? The stles changed on the badges over the years and just wanted to be specific on which badges and how many you needed? Roger Correct - mine are the 1985 Klipschahorns and I am looking for one pair.
  21. I am looking for a set of Klipsch speaker badges to put on the front of my Klipschahorn grills. If anyone has a set or can make some, please send me a PM. PS. I found some nice ones on ebay - I prefer to buy some from someone in the Klipsch forum community.
  22. I now have a set of Klipschahorn Grill sets that John Toon of this forum built for me over the holidays. John did an excellent job and payed attention to all the little details (ie. the mounting hole for the K77 tweeter and bracket assembly). The grills were very well packaged and I am extremely happy with his work. Here are some pictures of John's work from his website; http://toonbass.webs.com/apps/photos/ Feel free to PM me if you need any details regarding the grill set John made for me. Thank you John Toon.
  23. I am still looking for a set of grill assemblies for my 1985 Klipschorns just in case Santa is reading this forum!
  24. These are excellent solder stations that can last a long time.
