The 62 is a nice center, but the 64 is better.

Unfortunately I'll be out of town this weekend, but that amp looks like it would fit the bill. What days will you be traveling through SC?
-
I'd love to find a good B&K amp, but they don't seem to come up very often.
-
That's the plan. Three channels is the minimum I'd be looking for.
-
10-4, keep me posted.
-
That's awesome. It's not even in your signature! Just how many Emotiva amps do you have?!?
-
Probably $800 for the right amp from a forum member. Any more than that and I'd likely just spring for new.
-
I wish I'd jumped before they went SMPS and raised their prices.
-
I dropped a wanted post in the garage sale section to see if anything pops up.

Looking to try a multi-channel power amplifier in my home theater. Let me know what you have.
-
I'm sure your house will appreciate the break.
-
Well i've decided to let the XPA-2 deal pass by while i keep my eye open for a multi-channel amp. I'd hate to power my L&R with an 200 watt outboard and leave my center running off the receiver.
-
I just got a lead on an Emotiva XPA 2 in SC with a year left on the warranty for $500. I figure i'll give it a try and if I cant hear a difference i should be able to recoup my money pretty easily.

Wich center speakers sounds better? RP440C, RP450C or RP250C

Looks good to me. I even like the water heater. -
I just bought my Denon 6300 from these guys and its indistinguishable from new.
-
How high is your ceiling? My ceiling is 9' and the soundfield is sensitive to seating location. I've never had a chance to hear the modules, but I assume they produce a more diffuse soundfield after bouncing off the ceiling.

What do you think of this guy? https://www.audiogon.com/listings/solid-state-nad-c-275bee-c275bee-power-amplifier-with-manufacturer-s-warranty-free-shipping-2017-07-05-amplifiers

I just worry that I'm under powering them. I've read here and there that the RF-7s drop down near 4 ohms at low frequencies and require a lot of current to drive without clipping.
-
Setup is in my signature. As you can see, my Denon 6300 is powering all 11 speakers. It sounds good to me, but I don't know what I might be missing.

Any word on a replacement for the RS-62II?
-
Well i'm totally wrong which isn't unusual. See below for a pic straight from Klipsch. I don't really care for the black baffle, but i'd like to hear the new horn sometime.

Quick pic for anyone on the fence about committing to a home theater. It's totally worth it! Game of Thrones is fantastic on a 125" 16:9 screen. Since my last post on this thread, I've added a Denon 6300 receiver for full Atmos capability and completed one of two Stereo Integrity 18" subs.

Which is better at stereo? Denon x4300h or yamaha a-s701
fuzzydog replied to Spirit_Rises's topic in Home Theater
This would be mostly based on what features I needed. The OP hasn't given us much info on his sources so I can't say what inputs he might need. I.E., does he want to connect a BlueRay player via HDMI? Most integrated amps don't have HDMI inputs. -
I haven't heard any talk about replacing the RF-7II for a long time.

Not sure why the OP would be comparing a $1100 HT receiver to a $300 Stereo receiver. Not exactly apples to apples. If he's sure he's never going to add speakers to his setup then by all means go with a nice integrated amp. edit: i thought the OP was talking about the R-S700 ($300) and not the A-S701 ($580).
