Hendrix was before my time of concert days, but I did mange to score a few years ago the 3m two track that a few of his master tapes were mixed down to. It came out of electric lady land. One of there techs had brought it to a pro sound out door yard sale back in the 80's. The old 3m still works mint and is still in use when the recoding is worthy of a real anolog mixdown. I wonder what other albums were mixed on it.

you just have not lived yet until you try a Phase Linear 700 pushed with Khorns. I would try some old Threshold amps as they are a pretty fair deal now and sound good with khorns not harsh at all.

I wonder how this compares soundwise to my 310E? love to ab them somday

two old sears transister am radios set 4 feet apart. Just kidding some of sytems a khorn or two in them.

I have both the early and late k5 horns (51 and 58). I like the early better than the late and both better than k400.

Klipsch used to use Guass (spelling?) low end drivers in there pro stuff and this was a cast driver around 78- 82. this was a very good driver and top of the heat in the pro feild in its day.They held the top owners in power handling back then.

I would have loved to have all three but room and funds prevented that.

My ebay found 1960 Heresy arived today. This is one nice looking speaker I already had a 1959 thats real close diffrent wood and grill but same drivers. I think I'll use them as front and rear centers with some old khorns or maybe In two diffrent stereo sytems. I has to bid on this one as you dont see them very often.

Well I lucked out and won the Model H I thought it might go up a lot higher in price. Now I have a pair. One of these day I'll have to post my Heresy collection . This model h is very rare only ever seen three two of wich I Now own and the third a raw basic model with out trim. This model H has the larger cabnet Same as the late heresy but it has the 104 db crossover wich mates it as a center for Khorns. The bass output alone is rather weak with out a khorn or shorthorn ect. Still I'm happy to have a pair maybe even iff the bass is weak can always add a khorn.

I read a old reveiw about the stacked AR's being powered by the then new Phase Linear 700 both were favored togther seemed they liked ons of power.

I have the same Model H from a early 1959 Klipsch 3 way set with one short horn, one khorn and the model h all A matching set. I hope to win the one on ebay to make a pair. They were voiced to keep up with the khorn, So there is no bass when played solo. The h in moedl h stands for heresy.

Is it true that friday ones are not as good as monday made. I also think wenday made are the best.

I bought one for 150(got lucky at a second hand store) and the second for 1100(on epay) to match my first. Probly 500 to 100 depends on demand for only one.

I read about a Marine Klipschorn list for sale back in 57 in Klipsch prcie list. Anyone ever seen one or have one would make nice lawn speakers.

I always thought the Hartsfield bass bin was almost the same as a khorn but with the corner built in. I have the Mccaulley copy of the jbl horn lens and its l nice sounding horn. with a more short through than the klipsch and altec horns so it works nice up close. I would mind a pait or even Hartsfield to add to the collection. Does seem like the Jubilee bass bin is similar to the Hartsfield Hmmm And I though Klipsch had it out for Jbl copying the Khorn.

Anyone have a good gold cap tuner dial and nob caps for a 310e? My mint 310e came without the gold caps on all dials. It looks like they never had them as the brown dials have postion marks. It could be a early or late model before or after the gold caps.anyway i like the look with the gold caps.

Its to bad I'm out of room and time or I would help its only about 200 miles from here.

Dam they have shot up in value. And to think I bought my mint 310e on ebay 2.5 years ago for only 200 and it still plays strong without any work. I have to admit it does pull in the stations from far and wide.
