  1. Thanks for the info. I've emailed them.
  2. Looking for a KG 2.2 or 2.2V to use as a center channel speaker. I would prefer oil oak, but would consider all finishes.
  3. Great find and a nice job finishing them. I've refinished a number of Heresy's over the years. My favorite was a rosewood finish I applied to a pair.
  4. I have a pair of RS-7's for sale. $350 plus shipping
  5. Looking to sell my Energy RC setup. This system is in near new condition and I have all the original manufacturer boxes. I was an Energy dealer and these were a demo set that I kept for my own pleasure. When I say demo, they were in an appointment only demo room. If you would like to read a review on these speakers, here you go: http://www.soundandvision.com/content/energy-reference-connoisseur-rc-70-surround-speaker-system RC-70 (MSRP $2,000/pair) - $500 Pending Sale RC-LCR (MSRP $600/ea.) - SOLD RC-R (MSRP $600/pair) - $300 RC-6ST (MSRP $400/pair) - $150 I would prefer to sell everything as a set and I'm selling them at a considerable discount which is well below dealer cost. Pictures will be uploaded soon.
  6. I knew where one was for sale locally. I will check to see if it is still for sale.
  7. Digital really is the superior format, especially if you look at the measurements. However, analog does have a realistic warmth. The problem I have with the digital format is not the format at all. It is the recording engineers who have compressed the the dynamic range of the digital recordings to the point they are no longer wider than analog. They increase the the levels across all frequencies to the point where they begin to distort. I just can't stand to listen to any newly issued popular music on a decent quality stereo at any real volume because of the poor sound quality. With that being said, there are countless benefits of the digital format. Convenience, portability, potential for superior sound quality, etc.

    SVS Opinion...

There is no replacement for displacement
  9. Up for sale is a nice pair of KG 4.2 speakers in Oak Clear. These speakers look really good and sound even better. As you can see, the drivers are in excellent condition. The cabinets are in good shape with a few blemishes. The overall finish is good though. Take a look at the pictures. I'm also listing a KG 2.2V Center and a pair of KG 1.2 bookshelfs. 10. You need something to absorb all the midrange and higher frequencies. Wall treatments, rug, window treatments, etc.
  11. You can send the amp into Velodyne and they will send you a replacement or fix yours for $275. I've sent several in over the years.
  12. I guess your satisfied with the upgrades. I hope to do mine fairly soon.
  13. Up for sale is a used pair of Klipsch Reference RS-7 surround speakers in great condition. As you can see, there are no dents or dings in the cabinets. They've been fully tested and found to be in excellent working order. I have noticed a couple of blemishes. The vinyl on one corner has wrinkled and there appears to be a slight crease or indention in one of the cones. Neither is very noticeable, but I do like to give full disclosure. 14. It looks like you just completed the upgrades I will be making soon. I guess you bought the whole crossover replacement kit rather than just replacing the caps on the existing?
  15. In my experience the smoothest response is to have them in opposite sides of the room...example, one in the front of the room and one in the back. The most bass is produced when you place both in a corner. I currently have my two 15" Velodynes in the same position as yours because it is one of the more exciting and lively spots. What can I say...I like bass. Nowadays you can use an eq to smooth out the response if you want. I would put them in the front, but probably not the corners. If you do place them in the corners, buy an eq or they will sound boomy.
  16. Columbia, MO. 6520 I will do it for $399 shipped. I will PM you my paypal address.
  17. Actually, this was just an extra. I continue to use two of them in my media room with my Klipsch ensemble.
  18. I might be able to do that. Send me your city and zip code and let me see how much the shipping will be and I will let you know.
  19. Up for sale is a Velodyne F-1500 in excellent condition. I just purchased this sub from the original owner and it spent its entire life in a smoke-free home. The unit truly is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or scratches. It features a 15" sub with a 250 watt amplifier.
