  1. I'm looking to sell my Yamaha RX-797 Stereo Receiver and a CDC-897 CD player. I'm the second owner of the receiver and sole owner of the CD player. The receiver was Yamaha's most powerful stereo receiver when it was released. It is rated at 100 x 2 @ 8 ohms and I believe it sold for around $450-$500 when new. I've owned the unit for the last 10 years. The logo is missing and I'm using RCA's to connect the pre-in/outs. The CD player was bought new by me and hardly used. I did notice that the display is a little dim. I believe I have the original box for the CD player. Both of these units sit in my office and are in excellent working order. RX-797 - $100 CDC-697 $25
  2. Up for sale is a gently used subwoofer in excellent working order. The unit is also in very good cosmetic condition. Small and mighty. The Optimum series subwoofer delivers 2400 watts of dynamic power in a sealed cabinet design and features multi-layer, Kevlar reinforced, resin cones mounted in die-cast aluminum baskets with massive magnet structures. A single touch of the remote control's EQ button automatically adjusts the digital equalizer to provide optimal bass performance customized to any home entertainment system. No remote or microphone included.MSRP $1499
  3. They are listed on DIYMA and the 301M is pending sale.
  4. Not sure if anyone would be interested in these. I thought I would go ahead and list them on the forum in case there is anyone who appreciates high-end car audio. These two McIntosh amps are in near mint condition and are in perfect working order. I will probably regret getting rid of these. Price is firm as I'm already having second thoughts about selling. The MCC404 is rated at 4 x 100 @ 4 ohms; 200 x 4 @ 2 ohms and 400 x 2 @ 4 ohms bridged. The MCC301M is rated at 300 x 1 @ 4 ohms and 600 x 1 @ 2 ohms. The only thing I noticed is that the illumination bulb on the meter needs to be replaced if one wants it lit up. Each amp is $800.
  5. Up for sale is a nice RW 10 subwoofer. The unit is in good overall condition with no dents or dings. I'm sure you can find a few scuffs, but nothing to really mention. The unit works great with no issues.
  6. These are nice amps. I ran one of these for about 3 years and I have also used the 405 and 705x. Definitely a good value.
  7. Up for sale is a home theater amp in excellent condition. The amp works perfectly and I only see a couple small scratches along the face. The amp is rated at 5 x 80 watts @ 8 and able to deliver up to 130 watts through power steering and rated at 5 x 120 @ 4ohms.

    What I Got Today!

I picked up some really nice Paradigm Monitor 7 v5 and CC-190 v5
  10. I've sold two pairs of Yamaha NS-1000's, 10 years apart, and I still wished I owned a pair. Maybe I'll run across another pair locally again. Oh, Altec VOTTs! I loved a pair that I refurbished. I might not like them as much today, but I loved while I owned them. I had Valencia's too, but preferred the big A7's instead.
  11. Well even if I lived close to you, I wouldn't sell you mine! Pretty sure I wouldn't sell you my version 1's in Walnut either. Good luck! I'm sure you will find some that you like.
  12. I wanted to see if anyone would like to have a really nice DVD / DVD-A / CD player. It is a little older, but it is a quality piece. It received excellent reviews. I really don't have a need for it, so I thought I would offer it to someone here. As you can see, it comes with the original remote and power cord.
  13. Up for sale is a used Sunfire subwoofer in good overall condition. It is in perfect working order. It does show some scuffs and scratches that look worse in the pictures than they actually are. Most marks are just light scuffs in the vinyl and not actual scratches The grill has no holes and the drivers are in mint condition. Get more from your music and moviesNo matter what your favorite entertainment sources may be, the Sunfire SDS-12 will add impressive depth and excitement to them all. This potent powered subwoofer can faithfully re-create the delicate acoustic bass line from a classic bluegrass ballad, then turn around and deliver a room-rattling crash of thunder on a movie soundtrack. Its high-efficiency, 300-watt Sunfire amplifier and custom-built 12" woofer team up to give you rich, low-distortion sound. The Sunfire SDS-12's custom-built 12" driver and down-firing passive radiator combine to deliver impressive low-end clout.Moving some serious airMuch of the SDS-12's powerful performance comes courtesy of its Sunfire-designed, long-throw 12" woofer and acoustically matched 12" down-firing passive radiator. The woofer's extremely long excursion displaces large amounts of air to produce the deepest bass. The passive radiator reinforces the woofer, producing output most often achieved only with much larger cabinets.Brute force with intelligence and graceThe SDS-12 uses a cool-running 300-watt Class D amplifier with sophisticated circuitry that keeps the power coming on strong when needed, but consumes a mere 0.5 watts when in standby mode. Sunfire's proprietary Frequency Filtration Design™ (FFD) technology helps maintain musicality and accuracy, even at the highest volumes and lowest frequencies. The amp's soft-clipping circuitry also keeps the woofer from being dangerously overdriven or producing obvious distortion, without squashing the dynamic subtleties or compromising its thunderous impact during big action flicks.Easy system integrationLine-level inputs and outputs let you easily connect this sub to most audio system. Its back-panel volume, crossover, and phase controls help you fine-tune the bass to your liking. The sub includes four conical feet that reduce surface contact area to decrease the amount of vibrations transmitted to the floor. The SDS-12 makes an excellent addition to just about any a stereo music or home theater setup.Product Highlights:frequency response: 28-150 Hzbuilt-in Class D amplifier delivers 300 watts of continuous power, 600 watts peak powerFrequency Filtration Design™ (FFD) technology allows high output levels with low distortion12" poly-coated fiber cone wooferdown-firing 12" passive radiatorbass-reflex (passive radiator) enclosurecontinuously variable low-pass 30-150 Hz crossovercontinuously variable phase control (0-180°)rear-mounted volume, crossover, and phase controlauto on/offgold-plated line-level inputs and outputsLFE input for use with home theater receiver's subwoofer outputvibration-reducing conical feetblack ash vinyl finish14-5/8"W x 16-11/16"H x 15-9/16"Dweight: 35 lbs.
  14. I can pick up and ship if anyone would like me too. These are not too far from me.
  15. His final 5 holes were amazing! Especially considering the bogey on 13.
  16. Every CD I order from Amazon has a cracked jewel case.
