  1. Funny I ran across this thread now. I'm the one that bought this. I sold the sub and the center is sitting in a closet. I'm using a Heresy II between them. Swapped the diaphragms to Crites TI. Yeah he originally accepted $1000 offer from me, then came back and said he was swamped with offers for full price and one guys was willing to drive quit a distance. He asked if I would do the $1200. Thanks Defato.
  2. The Chorus II's are a light walnut, so I wonder if it might be better to just use Oak on the other speakers to darken them some. I'm not looking for an exact match. Oak sounds like it might be easier to work with. Actually I also plan on doing a pair of Black KG 2.5's too. I have a Oak Heresy II between the Chorus II's that doesn't look out of place. I might just do the black set and call it.
  3. I have Walnut oiled Chorus II's. I want to redo some light oak KG 2.5's to match. Any recommendations on a good product?
  4. It appears the studs broke loose on the magnet. I just thought they were bolts instead of the typical nuts to tighten. Anyway when I went to reinstall I noticed the magnet was spinning on the horn. Turns out both magnets are doing this. I don't know if someone used lock tight on them to make the nuts seal breaking loose the studs or what.
  5. Good point. The K-76 is a very tight fit already
  6. What about the K-75? I can't seem to find a K-79 anywhere online.
  7. I'm familiar with the Ti diaphragms. So you think it's a good option if I'm buying a new tweeter anyway to get the K-79 over the K-76?
  8. I need a replacement magnet for my Heresy II. I'll be installing the Crites Titanium diaphragm. My question is can I swap the K-76 magnet with a K-79 on the stock Heresy II horn lens? Reason I ask is this is a center speaker for my Chorus II'S which uses the K-79-k.
  9. Do you guys think I would notice a big improvement going from the Emotiva BasX3 140watts per channel to the XPA-3 275 watts per channel. The Chorus II's are super efficient.
  10. $150 Shipping included. miniDSP 2x4 HD includes original box. Comes with USB data cable, power wall wart, 2 short RCA cables to attache to source (bonus does not come stock with kit) . Firmware is up to date and I'll include all software on a disc as well. Read specs here https://www.minidsp.com/pr…/minidsp-in-a-box/minidsp-2x4-hd… Paypal Friends and family or buyer pays fees. Can also except Google Pay.
  11. I have two of these that I was using for surround speakers. $300 each located in the St. Louis Metro area on the Illinois side. 15 minutes from St Louis. Comes with the Crites Diaphragm and the original. Normal wear for a speaker this age. No emblem on the grills, I took them off since I had them vertical and can't find them now.
  12. The AW-650's would work nicelly if you have a tall enough ceiling. They sound great and would be easier to aim and what not. I tried them for my Atmos setup but my ceiling is only 7.5 feet tall. After hanging down a few inches I felt I didn't have quite enough speration from the surrounds. But thinking back, it probably was just as good since they could be aimed better than in-ceiling speakers.
