I have been using starling for almost 4 months now. I am coming from att fixed wireless and starlink in much more stable along with be alot faster. There are occasional service interruptions but nothing too crazy.

I tried smiply speakers a few years ago and they only sell an 8 ohm recone kit. the k48 is a 4 ohm speaker

If you decide to recone yourself i am pretty sure simply speakers has the wrong kit. I believe the k48 is a 4ohm speaker but ss only sells an 8 ohm kit.

Just wondering what people thought of a ksm-12 as a center channel between 2 kp301ii speakers? there are a handful of them for sale locally pretty cheap.

I went through this same situation last year. Eminence recommend the kappa pro 15lfc as the best replacement. I ended up finding a pair of k48s before i had a chance to try the kappa pros

I am in the process of upgrading the capacitors in this crossover and realized that the previous owner removed the 3.3 ohm resistor in the tweeter circuit. I was wondering if that is something i need to replace? Was there a good reason for him to remove it? thanks for any help

do you feel like you have to boost the treble to hear it? almost all of my loss is in the high frequencies.

Clear line of sight is a must. There is a starlink app that can be downloaded. It uses your camera to check for clear view. It works pretty well
