  1. In my CJ MV60, I prefer the EH6CA7 over the Mullard EL34. The 6CA7 sounds more extended on top and lively.
  2. Ebay is your friend. Search "Klipsch Forte" and you will find original woofers and tweeters as well as Bob's new versions.
  3. Dang iPhone. These three posts by me should all be one.
  4. That pair would look best with the grills off.
  5. A wife that is easy to please is worth their weight in gold. I'd say yes, they should sound good then. Might want to keep the grills on though.
  6. I paid $350 for a pair of black 97 Heresy II which look better than those. I'd offer less based on condition. Those grills are terrible.
  7. Cornwalls are bass monsters without wall or corner placement. Your problems are elsewhere. Double check phase.
  8. Was the crossover refresh in a Forte?
  9. The 15" bass driver in a La Scala is a woofer not a SUBwoofer.
  10. Haven't used the food processor yet. So far, I've only made smoothies using the large pitcher.

  12. Last week I won a Ninja blender in a work drawing. IMO the best part is the lack of noise. With our old blender the user would wear shooting ear muffs and everyone else would leave the room. It also makes quick work of frozen anything. Effortless smoothies. Go for it.
  13. Only a question......did you hear a difference?
  14. Why would ANY replacement woofer be better than an original? Wouldn't a non-original woofer change the tonal balance?
  15. I just saw a pair of Forte II woofers on ebay (11/08/13), if you want to stay original. Just a heads up, no affiliation.
  16. Same reply from me here as on karma. I'd match either to make a pair. eBay has several to choose from.
  17. Purchased new from Klipsch parts on 8/26/13. I used it in a Forte. $40.00 plus shipping. Bump with a lower price.
  18. I agree with the attenuator being the issue, but odd about the headphones being ok though. You're saying that the headphones are correct at all volume knob positions?
  19. Check Madisound. I used ClarityCaps in my round cup Fortes. I didn't replace the resistor, coils, or inductor. I did replace the woofer shunt cap with a Bennic 50.
  20. Craigslist Hampton Roads VA KG - SW for $20.00. Can't beat the price. http://norfolk.craigslist.org/ele/4142247987.html
  21. USPS tracking info received today. Thanks.
  22. I have replied to your PM'd offer.
