  1. This is the EXACT woofer that is in the RB-15. The dealer lets you make an offer so i bet i could end up getting 2 woofers for only about $50. http://www.ebay.com/itm/One-K-1130-AB-5-25-13-34cm-Cerametallic-cone-cast-polymer-frame-for-RB-15/221312108485?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D18058%26meid%3D2527029342333667459%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D8304%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D321235794949%26
  2. I found a deal on Craigslist for some Klipsch RB-15's for $50. After doing a little research trying to figure out whether this was a good deal or not, I looked on ebay and found the RB-10's selling for $200 so i came to the conclusion that it was a decent deal. I had bought some used RF-52's and a RC-52 earlier this week and needed some surround speakers and these seemed to be the perfect, non-expensive solution. After picking the speakers up, I noticed that they were in excellent condition EXCEPT that both speakers had a little dent in the woofer. It doesnt look like a puncture, just a dent. I've hooked the speakers up and they sound great, I haven't noticed any distortion due to the dents. However, I'm somewhat OCD and like my speakers to look brand new. Would it be worth the extra money and hassle replacing the woofers on these speakers? The only woofers i've been able to find that may fit are some replacement woofers for the RB-51 on ebay, which are the same size. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Brand-New-Woofer-Part-No-1000267-used-in-RB-51-/300984285526#shpCntId here are the replacement woofers.
  3. The room is approximately 22x20 feet, do you think the RF-52's would do the job?
  4. Ok this is my situation now. I could have 4th generation Klipsch RF-52 fronts and RC-52 center all for $600 or I could buy the BIC Acoustech PL-89 II fronts with the PL-28 II center channel all for about 675$. What would you all do in this situation? Which is the better deal?
  5. I live in eastern Tennessee. It's crazy though because i've looked for used RF-52's on Amazon, Ebay, Craigslist, and a few other sites and still haven't really been able to find them for less than about $250 a speaker.
  6. A total of $385 for 2 Klipsch RF-52 speakers is high? I've already talked him down from $450 but I may be able to talk him down a little more...
  7. I'm looking to buy some 4th generation Klipsch Reference RF-52 front speakers on craigslist for $385. What makes me nervous, is the fact that its a 4th generation and not the 5th generation. But, is there any audible difference at all between the 4th and 5th generation of this speaker? Or this the same situation as with the Polk Audio Monitor and TSi series where the sounds remains the same but cosmetics change. Also, would the Klipsch RF-52 front speakers with the Klipsch RF-52 center channel be a worthy upgrade from Polk TSi300 fronts and Polk CS10 center channel? My sub for the system is the Klipsch RW-12D.
