@Tigerman — George Gershwin was a fabulous composer and prolific writer including movies
I particularly like Rhapsody In Blue , Sumertime to name a couple
He also wrote Porgy & Bess - and Miles Davis did the music on the movie
Artist - Miles Davis
Title - Porgy and Bess
This album is from 1963
A 360 Sound release
Did you know his real name name is Jacob Gershowitz

Spinning a double album
This release follows the White Blood Cells album I posted earlier
Artist - The White Stripes
Title - Elephant
The complete recordings in chronological order
The difference between the two albums is this album is more refined, a little darker in the colour spectrum and more complex
The extra complexity comes off as angrier to my ears - however the album has its soft moments
But overall I had very enjoyable session listening to this album

Donald Fagen's night fly
I liked both albums
Night Fly was deeper and cooler in a Jazzy Rock way
Diamond Life was R&B with soulful - Lets enjoy life feel

This album was sent to me from the USA by a brother from another mother ( you know who you are Mike 🤫)

Can't wait to join you gents with vinyl. AR XA is a couple of months out yet. Just have to paint the metal top plate. It's 30 degrees right now. Have to wait until it's warmer. Have been slowly buying some vinyl bits in the meantime. I'll be there shortly.....
You are most welcome to join the spinning or the general conversation

I'm using a tablet....and the lighting sucks...
I could use my hid 1000 watt light
Just try taking the plastic off first and use NO flash -
The room light is all I use on the tablet photos I post here
Clean the lense before you take a photo

Mike I need to give you photography lessons
To much shine from the plastic cover and spoils an otherwise glorious image of a brilliant record 🤟
